Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To generate a possible small-size set, at a high speed, that includes many test cases matching with a set of existing test cases given as an input.SOLUTION: For some parameters, a value which a test case candidate should have is determined (718). Out of test cases included in a set of input test cases, test cases having the determined value are determined as candidates (712). Out of one or a plurality of test case candidates generated by a conventional method and one or a plurality of test case candidates selected from the set of input test cases, test cases having the highest score are added to the set of output test cases (716). The process is repeated until the set of the output test cases satisfies a target property.
