Abstract: Systems and methods for determining a configuration for a microarchitecture are described herein. An example system includes a proposal generator to generate a first candidate configuration of parameters for the microarchitecture, a machine learning model to process the first candidate configuration of parameters to output estimated performance indicators for the microarchitecture, an uncertainty checker to determine whether the estimated performance indicators are reliable, and a performance checker. In response to a determination that the estimated performance indicators are reliable, the performance checker is to determine whether the estimated performance indicators have improved toward a target. Further, if the estimated performance indicators have improved, the performance checker is to store the first candidate configuration of parameters in a memory as a potential solution for a microarchitecture without performing a full simulation on the first candidate configuration of parameters.

Abstract: Systems, apparatuses and methods may provide for origination camera technology that generates a cell representation of a local space associated with an origination camera in a multicast domain, predicts that an object in the local space will exit the local space and enter one or more adjacent spaces associated with additional cameras in the multicast domain, and sends the cell representation and a trajectory of the object to the additional cameras before the object exits the local space. Additionally, transition camera technology may generate a leader election message based on a multicasted trajectory of an object and a predicted trajectory of the object, send the leader election message from a transition camera to one or more additional cameras in a multicast domain, and track the object in the local space in response to a leader notification message.

Abstract: Systems, apparatuses and methods may provide for technology that obtains categorization information and corresponding uncertainty information from a perception subsystem, wherein the categorization information and the corresponding uncertainty information are to be associated with an object in an environment. The technology may also determine whether the corresponding uncertainty information satisfies one or more relevance criteria, and automatically control the perception subsystem to increase an accuracy in one or more subsequent categorizations of the object if the corresponding uncertainty information satisfies the one or more relevance criteria. In one example, determining whether the corresponding uncertainty information satisfies the relevance criteria includes taking a plurality of samples from the categorization information and the corresponding uncertainty information, generating a plurality of actuation plans based on the plurality of samples, and determining a safety deviation across the plurality of actuation plans, wherein the relevance criteria are satisfied if the safety deviation exceeds a threshold.

Abstract: Apparatus, systems, methods, and articles of manufacture for automatic robot perception programming by imitation learning are disclosed. An example apparatus includes a percept mapper to identify a first percept and a second percept from data gathered from a demonstration of a task and an entropy encoder to calculate a first saliency of the first percept and a second saliency of the second percept. The example apparatus also includes a trajectory mapper to map a trajectory based on the first percept and the second percept, the first percept skewed based on the first saliency, the second percept skewed based on the second saliency. In addition, the example apparatus includes a probabilistic encoder to determine a plurality of variations of the trajectory and create a collection of trajectories including the trajectory and the variations of the trajectory. The example apparatus also includes an assemble network to imitate an action based on a first simulated signal from a first neural network of a first modality and a second simulated signal from a second neural network of a second modality, the action representative of a perceptual skill.

The technology may also add the difference to the simulated output of the sensor. In one example, the neural network output includes mean displacement data and parametrically controllable covariance data. Additionally, the technology may subtract a point-wise difference from a second measurement output of the sensor.

Abstract: Systems, apparatuses and methods may provide for technology that generates, via a first neural network such as a grid network, a first vector representing a prediction of future behavior of an autonomous vehicle based on a current vehicle position and a vehicle velocity. The technology may also generate, via a second neural network such as an obstacle network, a second vector representing a prediction of future behavior of an external obstacle based on a current obstacle position and an obstacle velocity, and determine, via a third neural network such as a place network, a future trajectory for the vehicle based on the first vector and the second vector, the future trajectory representing a sequence of planned future behaviors for the vehicle. The technology may also issue actuation commands to navigate the autonomous vehicle based on the future trajectory for the vehicle.

Abstract: Systems, apparatuses and methods may provide for technology that adjusts, via a short-term subsystem, a communications parameter for one or more of wireless communication devices based on data from one or more of a plurality of sensors. The technology may also determine, via a neural network, a prediction of future performance of the wireless network based on a state of the network environment, wherein the state of the network environment includes information from the short-term subsystem and location information about the wireless communication devices and other objects in the environment, and determine a change in network configuration to improve a quality of communications in the wireless network based on the prediction of future performance of the wireless network. The technology may further generate generic path loss models based on time-stamped RSSI maps and record a sequence of events that cause a significant drop in RSSI to determine a change in network configuration.

Abstract: In an autonomous vehicle system, data received from one or more autonomous vehicles (AVs) can be aggregated to generate aggregated data. From this aggregated data, a vector-field map can be generated that includes a plurality of cells. Each of the cells can include a corresponding vector. The vector field map can be analyzed to identify one or more vectors of the plurality of cells that exceed one or more predetermined threshold values. The analysis can include a magnitude analysis and/or a frequency analysis. Based on the analysis, traffic and/or road conditions can be determined, which can provide prior knowledge about the driving behavior of other vehicles. Advantageously, aspects of the disclosure improve predictive motion models and enhance navigation algorithms.
