Abstract: Transmit and/or receive beamforming may be applied to the control channel transmission/reception, e.g., in mmW access link system design. Techniques to identify candidate control channel beams and/or their location in the subframe structure may provide for efficient WTRU operation. A framework for beam formed control channel design may support varying capabilities of mBs and/or WTRUs, and/or may support time and/or spatial domain multiplexing of control channel beams. For a multi-beam system, modifications to reference signal design may discover, identify, measure, and/or decode a control channel beam. Techniques may mitigate inter-beam interference. WTRU monitoring may consider beam search space, perhaps in addition to time and/or frequency search space. Enhancements to downlink control channel may support scheduling narrow data beams. Scheduling techniques may achieve high resource utilization, e.g., perhaps when large bandwidths are available and/or WTRUs may be spatially distributed.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and apparatus for supporting uplink Transmission Time Interval (TTI) bundling in Long Term Evolution (LTE) are provided. Methods, systems, and apparatus for signaling, activation/deactivation, and wireless transmit/receive unit (WTRU) behavior are also provided. In an example, a downlink control information (DCI) associated with a repeated physical uplink shared channel (PUSCH) transmission may be received. A hybrid acknowledgment repeat request (HARQ) process information may be determined using the received DCI. A repeated PUSCH transmission may be sent in accordance with one or more time units, the repetition configuration, and the HARQ process information.

Abstract: A WTRU may include a memory and a processor. The processor may be configured to receive beam grouping information from a gNB or transmission and reception point (TRP). The beam grouping information may indicate a group of beams that the WTRU may report using group-based reporting. The group-based reporting may be a reduced level of reporting compared to a beam-based reporting. The group-based report may include measurement information for a representative beam. The representative beam may be one of the beams in the group or represents an average of the beams in the group. Alternatively, the representative beam may be a beam that has a maximum measurement value compared to other beams in the group. The group-based report may include a reference signal received power (RSRP) for the representative beam and a differential RSRP for each additional beamin the beam group.

Abstract: A wireless transmit/receive unit (WTRU) may low-density parity-check (LDPC) encode data into LDPC blocks. Further, the WTRU may produce and append a cyclic redundancy check (CRC) to each of the LDPC blocks. Also, the WTRU may concatenate the plurality of LDPC blocks and appended CRCs. Additionally, the WTRU may produce information associated with error checks. Moreover, the WTRU may produce a codeword using a codebook. The codeword may be based on the information associated with the error checks. In addition, the WTRU may produce an orthogonal frequency-division multiplex (OFDM) signal by mapping the codeword and the concatenated plurality of LDPC blocks and appended CRCs onto resource elements of the OFDM signal. Further, the WTRU may transmit the produced OFDM signal. In a further example, the WTRU may produce an additional CRC in addition to the appended CRCs, and the produced OFDM signal may include the additional CRC.

Abstract: A method and apparatus for transmitting uplink control information (UCI) for Long Term Evolution-Advanced (LTE-A) using carrier aggregation is disclosed. Methods for UCI transmission in the uplink control channel, uplink shared channel or uplink data channel are disclosed. Abstract: Methods and apparatus for sounding reference signal (SRS) power control for a wireless transmitter/receiver unit (WTRU) are disclosed. These methods and apparatus include methods and apparatus for carrier-specific and carrier-common SRS power control in WTRUs that utilize carrier aggregation techniques. These methods and apparatus also include methods and apparatus for SRS power control in WTRUs utilizing both carrier aggregation and time division multiplexing (TDM) techniques. Additionally, these methods and apparatus include methods and apparatus for SRS power control for WTRUs utilizing multiple input multiple output MIMO operation. Methods and apparatus for SRS overhead reduction and power management in a WTRU are also disclosed.

Abstract: A wireless transmit/receive unit (WTRU) receives a downlink subframe having multiple component carriers, each component carrier having control information encoded in a physical data control channel (PDCCH). The WTRU performs a blind decoding of control information in a first PDCCH located within a first component carrier to obtain a location of a second PDCCH located within a second component carrier, where the location of the second PDCCH is relative to a location of the first PDCCH as control channel element offset. The WTRU decodes the second PDCCH at the obtained location.

Abstract: A method and apparatus are described for using an uplink (UL) primary carrier for long term evolution-advanced (LTE-A) to support hybrid automatic repeat request (HARQ) feedback, a channel quality indicator (CQI), a scheduling request (SR), power headroom, and at least one buffer status report in the context of asymmetrical deployment and symmetrical deployment. A method, implemented by a wireless transmit/receive unit (WTRU), for multi-carrier operations, includes transmitting control information on a physical uplink shared channel (PUSCH) on a condition that PUSCH transmissions are occurring on at least one of multiple uplink component carriers (UL CCs), and transmitting the control information on a physical uplink control channel (PUCCH) on a condition that the PUSCH transmissions by the WTRU are not occurring on any of the multiple UL CCs.
