PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for easily recovering a faded hair color obtained immediately after dyeing with an oxidation-type hair dye composition without damaging the hair itself. SOLUTION: In the method for recovering the faded hair color obtained immediately after dyeing with the oxidation-type hair dye composition, a composition for recovering the faded hair color which contains at least one direct dye and has a color different from the color determined based on the oxidation-type hair dye composition is applied to the hair that has been dyed with the oxidation-type hair dye composition, and as a result, faded. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable hair to be selectively dyed from roots using a dye without adhering the hair dye on the skin by equipping comb parts outward on both side edges of a base and making the angle made in between the comb parts and the base within a specific range. SOLUTION: This brush for hair dyeing comprises a brush part 1 equipped with a number of protrusions in a brush shape and comb parts 2 and 2 on the base 11. The comb parts 2 and 2 are directed outward on both edge parts of the base 11 and the angle α made between the comb parts 2 and 2, and the base 11 is set within a range of 35-55 deg.. The brush part 1 and the comb parts 2 and 2 are equipped on the long dyeing head part on the tip end part of the handle 12. The dyeing brush is preferably made of synthetic resin. The dyeing brush has plural kinds of protrusions 14-17 with different length and diameters as a number of protrusions. The protrusions 14-17 are longitudinally equipped in the longitudinal direction of the base 11 so as to form rows by kinds. Protrusions in the rows are equipped to be in zigzag protrusions.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To give tension, elasticity, stiffness to hair and improve feeling thereof by applying the hair components which reduces with aging (or their homologues) to the hair. SOLUTION: Since the lipid balance in the endogenous lipid components varies with aging in hair, the reduced hair components (or their homologues), particularly ceramide, cholesterol and the components selected from their derivatives are applied to improve the tension, elasticity and feeling of the hair. The ceramide (its derivative) is preferably, naturally occurring ceramide, or amide derivative of formulas I and II [R and R are a 1-40C (hydroxylated) hydrocarbon; R is a 1-6C straight or branched chain alkylene, a single bone,; R is H, a 1-12C straight or branched alkoxy where in case that R is a single bond, R is H; R is a 3-6C straight or brached alkylene; R is a 1-12C straight or branched chain alkoxy]. As a cholesterol (derivative), is preferably cited cholesteryl isostearate.
