PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat generation tool for continuously giving a sufficient warm sensation to a user.SOLUTION: Heat generation temperature measured based on JIS S4000 is 37-60°C in the heat generation tool. The heat generation tool includes on a skin abutment surface, a water-absorbing fiber sheet which retains 0.1-100μg/cmof a heating agent to be expressed by general formula (1) and 0.1-50μg/cmof water. It is preferable that the water retention ratio of the water-absorbing fiber sheet is 200-2,000 mass%. It is also preferable that the basis weight of the water-absorbing fiber sheet is 10-100g/m. It is also preferable that the heat generation tool includes: a body part having a heat generation part for enclosing a heat generation composition and a storage body which stores the heat generation part and at least partially has ventilation property; and a water-absorbing fiber sheet which constitutes a part of the storage body and is arranged on the outer surface of a first sheet positioned on the skin abutment surface side of the storage body.
