    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sanitary napkin which uses water absorptive polymers and is easily washed with water. SOLUTION: The sanitary napkin 1 includes: a surface layer 2; a rear surface layer 3; and an absorptive layer 4 arranged between both layers 2, 3 and including a water absorptive material. The water absorptive material contains the water absorptive polymer having a centrifugal retaining amount of 5-25g/g and a water absorption speed by the vortex method of 25 sec or more.
