Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heating device which utilizes heat generated by oxidation of a metal to be oxidized and prevents the bulging after generating the heat.
SOLUTION: The heating device 1 is constituted by containing an exothermic material 2 including the metal to be oxidized in a container 3 partially equipped with an air-permeable region 3a having moisture permeability of 200-2,000 g/m
2 ×24 hr. The exothermic material 2 shows a degree of moisture of 10-70 percent by weight after generating heat. The exothermic material 2 contains polyols, and contains the polyols of 1-30 percent by weight to the moisture contained in the exothermic material 2 before generating heat.
