Abstract:
A method for managing neighbor cell interference comprises: a step of measuring inter-cell interference control information by subframe units; and a step of transmitting the inter-cell interference control information measured by subframe units, to at least one neighbor cell for each of the subframes. The interference management method of the present invention dynamically performs neighbor cell interference management under the condition where neighbor cell interference changes in terms of time, thus improving performance of a system. Further, the interference management method of the present invention maps a wireless resource property pattern to a cell ID. Consequently, the system adopting the method of the present invention exhibits excellent performance in any environment.

Abstract:
The present invention relates to an adaptive transmitting device using limited feedback information in a mobile communication system, and a method thereof. According to an exemplary embodiment of the present invention, when the base station transmits a pilot signal to the terminal, the terminal generates channel information by using the pilot signal, generates additional channel information from the channel information, and transmits the channel information and the additional channel information to the base station. The base station determines band allocation, power allocation, and modulation methods for each use by using received feedback information, and transmits modulated traffic data to the terminal according to the determined methods.
Abstract:
A cooperative communication method for cooperative communication with a user equipment by using a plurality of cells and a base station used for the cooperative communication are disclosed. The method for performing a cooperative communication for a user equipment by using a plurality of cells includes: comparing channel state information for a radio signal with a predetermined threshold value to thereby produce a comparison result; determining whether to perform the cooperative communication for the user equipment based on the comparison result; and transmitting a control message for cooperative communication to a cooperating cell which is to perform the cooperative communication.
Abstract:
Disclosed is a wireless communication system using multiple transmission and reception points. In a wireless communication system having a first transmission and reception point and at least one second transmission and reception point belonging to the same cell, the first transmission and reception point has a wider transmission area than the at least one second transmission and reception point, and the first transmission and reception point and the at least one second transmission and reception point generate downlink transmission signals by using the same physical layer cell ID or virtual cell IDs allocated to each terminal, and then the terminals generate uplink transmission signals by using the allocated virtual cell IDs.
Abstract:
Disclosed is a method for directly transmitting and receiving data between terminals in a frequency division duplexing (FDD)-type and time division duplexing (TDD)-type mobile communication system. For FDD-type systems, provided are methods for performing direct data transmission and reception between terminals on the basis of a downlink subframe time interval and methods for performing direct data transmission and reception between terminals on the basis of an uplink subframe time interval. For TDD-type systems, provided are methods for performing direct data transmission and reception between terminals in a downlink subframe and methods for performing direct data transmission and reception between terminals in an uplink subframe. Additionally, for each method, provided are systems for performing only reception or transmission in one subframe and systems for performing both reception and transmission in one subframe. Accordingly, when a method for directly transmitting and receiving data between terminals according to the present invention is used, direct data transmission and reception is possible between adjacent terminals without passing through a base station, such that the waste and delivery delays of a radio resource for communication between a base station and a terminal may be reduced.
Abstract:
A data transmission and reception method in a cooperative communication system is provided. The data transmission method of a base station in a cooperative communication system includes: generating a first code word for cooperative transmission and a second code word for direct transmission to a mobile station (105); and transmitting a signal including one or more of the first and second code words to a relay equipment (103) for cooperative transmission and the mobile station (105). The first and second words are independent from each other.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a cooperative communication method, in which a plurality of cells performs multiple antenna transmission and receiving cooperatively with each other in a cellular wireless system, and a terminal transmits channel state information (CSI) wirelessly to a serving cell and to at least one cooperative cell such that the serving cell and the cooperative cell use the CSI to perform multipoint communication. Although the serving cell and the cooperative cell may be of different base stations from each other, the transmission delay and traffic increase in a backhaul network can be prevented by minimizing information exchange between these cells.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a transmitter in a frequency division multiple access communication system. The transmitter generates a plurality of pilot symbols, and groups the plurality of pilot symbols into a plurality of groups according to a location of a subcarrier. In addition, the transmitter inverse fast Fourier transforms the pilot symbol in each group, and sequentially outputs a first pilot symbol sequence corresponding to each group. The transmitter generates a plurality of pilot blocks respectively corresponding to the plurality of groups, and converts the first pilot symbol sequence of each group into a second pilot symbol sequence of a corresponding pilot block among the plurality of pilot blocks.
