Abstract: A method for providing a personalized lifecycle management service based on a personalized data management policy is provided to implement conveniently the data management serve based on the personalized policy by executing a various data management processes according to the data management policy pre-defined by the user. A method for providing a personalized lifecycle management service based on a personalized data management policy comprises the steps of: a data exchange recognition step(206) for recognizing a system for providing the personalized lifecycle management service and the data exchange between a first storing device connected via a network; a policy recognizing step(207) for recognizing the personalized data management policy for the connected first storing device; a context information recognizing step(208) for recognizing the context information for a corresponding user; a data management step(209) for executing the data management function according to the recognized personalized data management policy and the context information; and a meta data considering step(210) for considering the execution result of the data management function to the meta data.
