X n2 ) by a corresponding orthogonal sequence and a corresponding gain, respectively; generating a second output signal (820) by summing the second outputs; receiving the first and second output signals in a complex form (900) and complex-multiplying the first and the second output signals by SC(OS 3 +jP-OS 4 ) (900, 300), wherein SC is a spreading code, OS 3 and OS 4 are orthogonal sequences, and P is a predetermined sequence.

Abstract: In-phase (I) and quadrature (Q) channels in a mobile unit are coded (13) producing digital word and command elements. Coded signals are passed to a code production unit, which forms spread spectrum codes attributable to the I and Q channels. The digital word elements, command elements and spread spectrum codes correspond to points in the same position and symmetrical with respect to a zero point on the phase domain. The elements are applied to a spread spectrum generator producing the signal modulation.
