The present invention relates to a multiple-mode broadband wireless communication device and method, wherein a multiple-mode broadband sending device comprises: a baseband output unit which outputs a plurality of digital signals in parallel; an intermediate frequency processing unit which subjects the digital signals, which have been output in parallel, to up-conversion to intermediate frequencies in a range in which they do not interfere with each other; a conversion unit which converts the parallel digital signals, which result from the up-conversion to the intermediate frequencies, to series digital signals; a digital-analogue conversion unit which converts the series digital signals to analogue signals; and a wireless frequency processing unit which converts the analogue signals to a transmission frequency corresponding to the required communication service.

Disclosed are a data transceiver and a method thereof in a wireless communication system, and particularly, is a data transceiver and method thereof using multiple routes in the wireless communication system. The data transmitting/receiving method using the multiple routes in the wireless communication system includes setting a direct route to a corresponding station and a relay route to a relay device, selecting one route from among the direct route and relay route, and transmitting/receiving data through the selected route.

A method of configuring a frame for fast wireless communication and an apparatus for fast wireless communication are provided. The apparatus for fast wireless communication includes: a frame configuration unit configuring a frame including transmission data; a demultiplexing unit demultiplexing the transmission data included in the frame into N number of parallel streams (N: positive number greater than 2); N number of coding and modulation units connected in parallel to perform error correction coding and orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) with respect to each of the N number of parallel streams; and a multiplexing unit multiplexing outputs of the N number of coding and modulation units into serial streams.

The present invention relates to a wideband near field communication apparatus and method using a uni-directional antenna. The wideband near field communication method according to one embodiment determines a change in the relay operation type on the basis of the link quality between a source node and a relay node, the link quality between the relay node and a target node and the link quality between the source node and the target node. When the change in the relay operation type is determined, a relay operation change (ROC) request message is transmitted, and receives a ROC response message in response to the ROC request message.

Provided is a method for adjusting a transmission starting point of at least one second terminal through a first terminal in a wireless network. The method for adjusting the transmission starting point comprises the steps of: setting the transmission starting point of the second terminal; transmitting a first request frame including information for the transmission starting point to the second terminal; receiving the first response frame transmitted according to the transmission starting point from the second terminal; and adjusting the transmission starting point according to an arrival time of the first response frame.

An adaptive modulation apparatus and method using a multiple antenna selection scheme are provided. The adaptive modulation method using the multiple antenna scheme includes: selecting one transmit antenna from a plurality of transmit antennas; determining a target transmission rate of the selected transmit antenna to transmit the determined target transmission rate to a multiple antenna reception apparatus; receiving, from the multiple antenna reception apparatus, feedback information including information regarding whether to accept the target transmission rate; and transmitting data to the multiple antenna reception apparatus using the received feedback information.

PURPOSE: A wireless communication terminal equipped with a matched filter is provided to execute a mode with low power according to characteristic of received signals by selectively operating the matched filter according to the existence of a multiple path. CONSTITUTION: A switch(10) separates and outputs channel estimation signals and data signals from a received frame. A cross correlator(20) receives the channel estimation signals and calculates pre-set channel estimation signals and cross correlation values. A comparing counter(30) counts the number of symbols with higher absolute values of the cross correlation values compared to a reference value. A matched filter(50) receives the cross correlation values and executes a matched filtering process. A multiplexer(40) receives the data signals from the switch and outputs the data signals to the matched filter or bypasses the data signals according to the output of the comparing counter.

Provided is an apparatus and method for wideband short-range wireless communication using a directional antenna in a millimeter wave band, and the method for wideband short-range wireless communication according to an embodiment may determine a first time interval and a second time interval for a cooperated data frame transfer based on a packet transmission time at each transmission from a source node to a destination node, transmit a frame to a relay node through an antenna pattern directed towards the relay node at a start point of the first time interval, and transmit the frame to the destination node through an antenna pattern directed towards the destination node after a predetermined period of time from a start point of the second time interval.
