A relay method of a wireless communication system according to one embodiment of the present invention relates to a relay method of a wireless communication system in which at least one relay device communicates with a base station. The relay method comprises the steps of: each relay device setting information about a frequency band to be relayed, composing a control signal including the information about the set frequency band, and transmitting the control signal to at least one relay device; and receiving the control signal, extracting the information about the frequency band included in the control signal, amplifying the signal according to the information about the frequency band set in each relay device, and transmitting the amplified signal to at least one terminal.

A method for reducing power consumption of a terminal that communicates with a base station in a mobile communication system using a multi-carrier structure composed of a primary component carrier and at least one secondary component carrier comprises: receiving a discontinuous reception (DRX) parameter group for multi carriers from the base station; and setting the multi carriers to the same parameter value, by using the received parameter group value. The method for reducing power consumption of the terminal further comprises: performing a downlink control channel receive operation on each carrier according to a DRX cycle. As the base station in the mobile communication system using the multi-carrier structure simplifies the DRX process for reducing power consumption of a terminal by reducing signaling load for the multi-carrier control of the terminal, it becomes possible to reduce power consumption of the terminal.

Disclosed are a method for checking whether D2D communication between devices for performing D2D communication is possible, and a method for estimating the proximity of devices to base stations and the proximity of devices to one another for reusing wireless resources in device-to-device communication and terminal relay communication. The method according to the present invention may enable the verification of whether D2D communication is possible between devices to establish a D2D connection, and may enable the wireless resources allocated to a cellular link and to other D2D links to be reused. Further, the method of the present invention may enable variations in a link state caused by terminal mobility to be handled, as well as D2D communication between new UEs and D2D communication between a new UE and a legacy UE, to be handled.

The present invention can effectively perform data transceiving between a relay station and a base station in a wireless communication system in which the relay station is positioned by determining transmission timing and frame configuration of backhaul downlink and backhaul uplink in consideration of at least one of the signal transmission times and the transceiving switch times of the relay station, and by conducting a transceiving process according to the determined timing and frame configuration.

Provided is a wireless multi-carrier code division multiplexing communication apparatus that may transmit data using a transmit diversity scheme. A transmission apparatus may include: a space-time coding unit (340) to perform space-time encoding of transmission data to generate a plurality of data streams: a radio resource code generation unit(320) to generate a radio resource code vector by referring to radio resource allocation information associated with a reception apparatus; a signal generation unit (350) to generate a plurality of code division multiplexing signals corresponding to a plurality of transmit antennas (370) respectively, by muiltiplying the radio oplurality of code division multiplexing signals to the reception apparatus via the plurality of transmit antennas. The present invention provides a device and method for transmitting a relay synchronization signal on an LTE-A system based on orthogonal frequency division having a multi-hop relay. In one example of the present invention, the device for transmitting a relay synchronization signal employs a synchronization signal for synchronization between a relay and a base station, and for synchronising one relay and a lower relay, and also for synchronization with a terminal for the purpose of having one relay monitor a neighbouring base station or relay; the synchronization signal being employed in such a way as to generate a relay synchronization signal having low correlation properties and having the same PAPR characteristics as the synchronization signal, and also to generate a frame comprising a relay synchronization signal.
