Abstract: A mobile terminal having a front surface, a rear surface, and side surfaces includes a cover glass allowing an electromagnetic wave to be transmitted therethrough, a case having a metal rim forming an appearance of the top or the bottom of the mobile terminal, and an antenna having a plurality of arrayed antenna patterns to radiate a beamformed transmission signal, wherein the antenna is disposed such that at least a portion thereof is adjacent to the metal rim, and the cover glass includes a planar portion disposed on the front surface or the rear surface and a bent portion bent from at least one end of the planar portion such that the transmission signal is radiated through the cover glass.

Abstract: The present invention provides a mobile terminal comprising: a terminal main body comprising a front case and an internal frame forming an internal area including an inundation area in which terminal water flows in and a waterproof area in which the inflow of water is blocked; and a key module mounted on the terminal main body and forming, by pressing, a control command, wherein the key module comprises: a first unit disposed in the inundation area and moved by an external force; a second unit disposed in the waterproof area and a signal generated by pressing; an elastic deformation layer having one region elastically deformed by movement of the first unit such that the second unit is pressed by the first unit; and a through hole, which allows the elastic deformation layer and the front case to be attached so as to partition the inundation area and the waterproof area and through which the first unit penetrates.

Abstract: A mobile terminal is disclosed, by which a display and a case can be uniformly attached to each other with a reinforced adhesive strength. The present invention includes a case, a display unit installed on the case, a seating part provided to the case, the seating part configured to support the display unit, and a channel provided to the seating part, the channel configured to receive an adhesive for coupling the display unit and the case together. The channel includes a bottom portion, a first wall surface extending from the bottom portion and a second wall surface extending from the bottom portion. The second wall surface is disposed closer to a center of the case than the first wall surface. And, the second wall surface tilts at a prescribed angle toward the center of the case.
