Abstract: A scroll compressor is provided that may include a casing; a drive motor provided at an inner space of the casing; a rotational shaft coupled to a rotor of the drive motor, and rotated together with the rotor; a frame provided below the drive motor; a fixed scroll provided below the frame, and having a fixed wrap; and an orbiting scroll provided between the frame and the fixed scroll, having an orbiting wrap so as to form a compression chamber including a suction chamber, an intermediate pressure chamber, and a discharge chamber, by being engaged with the fixed wrap. In a state in which a center of the fixed scroll and a center of the orbiting scroll are substantially the same, an interval between the fixed wrap and the orbiting wrap gradually increases towards the suction chamber from the discharge chamber.

Abstract: A scroll compressor may include an oil supply passage provided independent of an intermediate pressure chamber to allow an oil passage of a rotational shaft to communicate with a compression chamber, such that some of the oil suctioned through the oil passage is guided to the compression chamber. As an inner space of a casing communicates directly with the compression chamber without passing through the intermediate pressure chamber, even in a state in which an operating pressure ratio is, for example, 1.3 or less, namely, even if a differential pressure between the inner space and the compression chamber is not large, oil stored in the inner space may be smoothly supplied to the compression chamber.

Abstract: A scroll compressor is provided that may include a motor; an orbiting scroll; a fixed scroll coupled to the orbiting scroll, and forming a compression chamber together with the orbiting scroll; a frame coupled to the fixed scroll, and configured to support the orbiting scroll; a sealing member mounting groove having a ring shape, and formed on a first surface of the frame contacting the orbiting scroll, or a second surface of the orbiting scroll contacting the frame; and a sealing member including a first sealing portion formed in a ring shape, inserted into the sealing member mounting groove so as to be moveable in an axial direction, and configured to perform a sealing operation between the frame and the orbiting scroll in the axial direction and including a second sealing portion extending from the first sealing portion in the axial direction, and configured to perform a sealing operation between the frame and the orbiting scroll in a radial direction by contacting an outer side wall surface of the sealing member mounting groove A thickness of the second sealing portion in the radial direction may be smaller than a thickness of the first sealing portion in the axial direction.
