a controller (700) configured to determine, based on the sound waves detected by the sensor (500), whether the knock input is applied on the front panel (271, 471) of the panel assembly (270, 470) of the door (25), and to turn on the lighting device (600) to illuminate the interior of the refrigerator when the sensor (500) detect the sound waves from the knock input applied on the front panel (271, 471).-
