Abstract: In a rotary compressor according to the present embodiment, at least any one of a main bearing and a sub-bearing may have at least one axial-direction support part which extends from the outer circumferential surface of a back pressure pocket and is formed to have at a predetermined depth. The compressor can raise an oil film pressure supporting a roller in the axial direction thereof to stably support the roller including a rotation shaft in the axial direction, thereby effectively suppressing friction loss and abrasion between the roller and the main bearing facing the roller and between the roller and the sub-bearing.
