Abstract: A plasma display apparatus and a method of driving the same are disclosed. The plasma display apparatus includes a plasma display panel including a first electrode, a second electrode and a third electrode intersecting the first electrode and the second electrode and a driver. At least one of the first electrode and the second electrode has a singe-layered structure. The driver supplies sustain signals to the first electrode and the second electrode during a sustain period of a frame. The sustain signal supplied to the first electrode overlaps the sustain signal supplied to the second electrode.
