Abstract: A digital device and a method of processing screensaver the same are disclosed in this disclosure. According to the present invention, a digital device includes a manager configured to manage a window of the digital device and to generate and transmit first status data to a controller depending on whether the digital device is in a first status, a resource processor configured to manage and assign resources of the digital device, to receive status data and size data from launched applications and to configure and temporarily store application data for screensaver processing, and the controller configured to launching of one or more applications, to transmit a request to execute the screensaver to the resource processor if the first status data is received from the manger, to transmit a control command to a screensaver application based on a response of the resource processor according to the request, and to control the screensaver, wherein the resource processor returns a response to the request to execute the screensaver based on resource data about resource assignment and use of the digital device and the temporarily stored application data according to the request of the controller.
