Abstract: A refrigerator is disclosed. Abstract: A method of manufacturing a dew formation preventing member having a super water repellent surface of the present invention comprises the steps of: mixing a particular paint and polytetrafluorethylene at a predetermined ratio; particulate painting the mixed paint on a substrate surface; and heat treating the particulate painted substrate. A method of manufacturing a dew formation preventing member having a super water repellent surface according to another aspect of the present invention comprises the steps of: immersing a substrate in an electro deposition paint, and applying a direct current to conduct electro deposition painting; heat treating the substrate that has undergone the electro deposition painting; and plasma treating the surface of the substrate that has undergone the electro deposition painting.

Abstract: A cooling cycle apparatus for a refrigerator includes a first compressor, a condenser for condensing a refrigerant compressed in the first compressor, a first expansion device for lowering a temperature and a pressure of a portion of the condensed refrigerant, a first evaporator for evaporating the refrigerant, a second expansion device for lowering a temperature and a pressure of a remaining portion of the refrigerant, a gas-liquid separator for separating a liquid-phase refrigerant from a gas-phase refrigerant in the refrigerant, a third expansion device for lowering a temperature and a pressure of the liquid-phase refrigerant, a second evaporator for evaporating the refrigerant that has passed through the third expansion device, and a second compressor for compressing the refrigerant that has passed through the second evaporator and transferring the refrigerant to the first compressor, wherein the refrigerant that has passed through the first evaporator and the gas-phase refrigerant separated in the gas-liquid separator are introduced into the first compressor together with the refrigerant compressed in the second compressor.

A first reference time is determined using a representative value obtained based on the temperature of the first storage chamber during a single run cycle, which includes a previous first refrigeration cycle and a previous second refrigeration cycle. A second reference time period is determined using a representative value obtained on the basis of the temperature of the second storage chamber during the single run cycle.

Abstract: A method of controlling a refrigerator is disclosed. The method includes: operating a cool air supply means with a predetermined output; a controller determining the output of the cool air supply means based on a current temperature of a storage compartment sensed by a temperature sensor while the cool air supply means operates with the predetermined output; and the controller operating the cool air supply means with the determined output. The controller determines that the output of the cool air supply means is decreased or increased when an absolute value of a difference between a previous temperature and a current temperature of the storage compartment is equal to or greater than a first reference value, and wherein the output of the cool air supply means is decreased or increased again when the absolute value of the difference between a current temperature of the storage compartment sensed again after a predetermined time has elapses and the previous temperature of the storage compartment is equal to or greater than the first reference value.
