CONSTITUTION:The objective box unit having an expanded heat insulating material prepared by mixing an organic polyisocyanate with a benzyl ether type liquid phenolic resin composition having 220-300 average molecular weight as a polyol component, a foaming agent consisting of dibromodifluoroethane, a foam stabilizer and a catalyst and expanding the resultant mixture.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To obtain a heat insulating structure excellent in mass productivity shortening the exhaust time by coating a foaming resin material of open cell structure with a vessel of metal or plastic laminated film and reducing a pressure in the inside of the vessel to close it. CONSTITUTION:A resin foaming material of open cell structure, obtained by using organic polyisocyanate, polyore, catalyst, foam arranging agent, foam communication agent and dichloro-trifluoroethane as the foaming agent to be mixed and foamed, is used for a core member of a vacuum heat insulating material. Accordingly, the core member generates an open cell rate actually to 100% with a foaming film broken in a foaming process while forming a fine foaming framework, so that the core member is coated with a vessel 5 formed by a metal or plastic laminated film, and a pressure in the inside of the vessel is reduced. Then excellent heat insulating performance is obtained even by a pressure of about 0.1 to 0.01mmHg easy to handle industrially, and mass production efficiency is substantially improved by shortening the exhaust time.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To adsorb and remove carbon acid gas contained in the urethane foam in a short period of time so as to improve the thermal conductivity and prevent the intrusion of air by forming the casing with an outer casing, an inner casing which as a plastic layer containing a carbonic acid gas adsorbent and a gas barrier layer that are superposed, and a foam heat insulating material filled between the outer and inner casings. CONSTITUTION:The casing consist of an outer casing 2, an inner casing 7 which has a plastic layer 11 containing a carbonic acid gas adsorbent 10 and a gas barrier layer 9 that are superposed, and a foam heat insulating material 4 filled between the inner and outer casings. By this constitution, the carbonic acid gas contained in the hard urethane foam 4 moves in the direction of thickness of the heat insulating wall, and is easily adsorbed by the carbonic acid gas adsorbent 10 superposed on the inner casing 7. The rate-determination for the carbonic acid gas movement lies in the passage through the heat insulating wall of the hard urethane foam. As the travel distance is short in the direction of the wall thickness, the gas can move in a short period of time. Therefore, the carbonic acid gas can be easily removed by the adsorbent. Further, even if the pressure in the foam has dropped due to the adsorption of carbonic acid gas, the intrusion of outside air can be prevented because the gas barrier layer 9 is superposed on the inner casing 7.

CONSTITUTION:A polyether containing a non-amino based active hydrogen compound such as trimethylolpropane or glycerin as an initiator is blended with a benzylether type liquid phenol based resin composition at an amount of 20-40% based on the resin composition and further a catalyst, foam stabilizer, organic polyisocyanate and foaming agent consisting of 1,1-dichloro-1- fluoroethane are blended therewith and the blend is foamed to provide the aimed heat insulating material.
