Abstract: PURPOSE:To restrain the deterioration with age of the adiabatic performance of an adiabatic box for a refrigerator, a freezer and the like which employ expandable adiabatic material such as rigid urethane foam or the like by utilizing ABS, whose constituting elements are limitted especially, for an inner casing. CONSTITUTION:The subject adiabatic box is constituted of hard urethane foam 4, employing fluorocarbon C5F12 as foaming agent, and an inner casing 5 molded by high nitirile ABS resin composition, obtained by polymerizing the monomeric mixture of 57-63wt.% of vinyl cyanide compound and 37-43wt.% of aromatic vinyl compound under the existence of 14-19 pts.wt. of conjugated diene synthetic rubber.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To develop very prominent adiabatic performance and improve productivity by a method wherein foamed resin body, obtained through mixed foaming employing organic polyisocyanate, benzyl ether type liquid phenol resin composition, catalyst, foam stabilizer, foam communicating agent and the foaming agent of perfluoroalkane and provided with continuous foam structure is employed. CONSTITUTION:A core material or hard urethane foam 4 is provided with continuous foam structure obtained by mixing the materials of organic polyisocyanate, benzyl ether type liquid phenol resin composition, catalyst, foam stabilizer and the foaming agent of perfluoroalkane and foaming them. In this case, a fluorine series surface active agent is preferably utilized as the foam stabilizer. Further, the individual body or the mixture of perfluorohexane or perfluoropenthane is preferably used for the foaming agent or the perfluoroalkane. The hard urethane foam 4, obtained in such a manner, is covered by a bag type vessel 5, consisting of a metal-plastic laminate film made by laminating constitution while the inside of the vessel 5 is evacuated and sealed whereby an adiabatic body 6 can be obtained.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To obtain a heat insulating wall, prominent in resistance to burning and chemical attack while having no environmental problem, by a method wherein a hard urethane foam, employing a specified mixed foaming agent, is foamed integrally with a surface material made of a synthetic resin. CONSTITUTION:A heat insulating wall D is formed by foaming a hard urethane foam 4, employing 50-80mol% of 1,1-dichloro 1-flouroethane or 1,1-dichloro 2,2,2-trifluoroethane and the balance of 20-50mol% of perfluoroalkaline, is formed integrally with the surface material 2 of synthetic resin. According to this method, the property of chemical attack is small, whitening, cracking and the like are eliminated and the burning property of gas constituent is eliminated simultaneously whereby the title wall can be manufactured safely. On the other hand, an environmental problem such as ozone degradation and the like will never be generated.

CONSTITUTION:A foamed heat insulation material formed by mixing under agitation an organic polyisocyanate with a polyol, a catalyst, a foam stabilizer and a blowing agent comprising, 1,1-dichloro-1-fluoroethane, 2,2-dichloro-1,1,1- trifluoroethane or a mixture thereof and foaming the mixture, wherein the polyol is a mixture containing at least 20 wt.% polyether polyol prepared by using trimethylolpropane as an initiator, the equivalent ratio of the NCO groups of the organic polyisocyanate to the OH groups of the polyol is 1.3-3.0, and the above catalyst is an isocyanate trimerization catalyst or its mixture.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To provide a foamed heat insulation material of a low density without causing an environmental problem by performing the foaming by using a mixed blowing agent comprising dichloro-trifluoroethane and 1,1,1,2-tetrafluoroethane in a specified molar ratio. CONSTITUTION:A mixed blowing agent comprising 70-9-mol% dichlorotrifluoroethane as a fluorinated halohydrocarbon and 30-10mol% 1,1,1,2- tetrafluoroethane is mixed with the starting material of a heat insulation material comprising a polyol, an organic polyisocyanate, a catalyst, etc., and the mixture is foamed to produce a foamed heat insulating material. In this way, the initial foaming can be efficiently and physically accelerated by the vaporization of 1,1,1,2-tetrafluoroethane which is a low boiling blowing agent, and a foaming system excellent in flow can be obtained. Thus, an excellent foamed heat insulation material of a low density can be produced without causing any environmental problem.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To prevent the dispersion of stock solution of foamed heat insulating material even when a space, formed by an outer box and an inner box, is narrow by a method wherein a heat insulating box body is formed of the inner box, the outer box, a partitioning part, dividing the inner box into 2 chambers or more and attached to the inner box, and foamed heat insulating material, poured through a pouring port communicated with a space formed by the outer box and the inner box to fill the space by foaming. CONSTITUTION:A heat insulating box body is constituted of an outer box 2, an inner box 3, a partitioning part 6, attached to the inner box 3 to divide the inner box 3 into two chambers, pouring ports 7, provided at the front surface of the partitioning part 6, and foamed heat insulating material 8, poured through the pouring ports 7 and foamed. The stock solution of the foamed heat insulating material 8 is poured through the pouring ports 7 provided on the partitioning part 6 while positioning the flanges of the front surface at the lower part of the box body. The poured stock solution arrives at a space 4, formed by the outer box 2 and the inner box 3, through pouring passages 9 in the partitioning part 6 and is distributed into two directions to make it flow into the ceiling surface part as well as the bottom surface part of the heat insulating box through the flange part. According to this method, the space is filled with foam, obtained by foaming the uniformly distributed stock solution, without any trouble whereby the heat insulating box body may be obtained.

(A) (e.g. a phenol polyol with a hydroxyl number of 480mgKOH/g) is compounded with 5-15% arom. amine polyether (B) (e.g. an arom. amine polyether with a hydroxyl number of 460mgKOH/g using tolylenediamine as an initiator) based on the component A and 20-40% non-amino polyether (C) (e.g. a non-amino polyether with a hydroxyl number of 410mgKOH/g using trimethylolpropane as an initiator) based on the component A. Then, an org. polyisocyanate (D), a catalyst (E), a foam stabilizer (F) and a foaming agent (G) consisting of 1,1-dichloro-1-fluoroethane are compounded therewith and the mixture is foamed.
