    Abstract: A hand-held easy to carry shaped sensor packaging that has special feature that protect the sensitive sensing elements from being destroyed and thus allow reliable and accurate reading of the measurand. The apparatus includes a casing, a signal processing unit contained within the casing and an internal sensor rod having a rod shaft connected with the processing unit. The rod shaft includes at least one cavity for receiving a sensing element to obtain data to provide the chemical properties readings during penetration into the liquid and firm materials.

    Abstract: The present invention provides a method for reducing and/or eliminating signal interferences from other ions which are produced during detection of a particular chemical ion in a substance, said method comprise of at least two sensors (2,4) whereby at least one sensor is assigned to collect the interfering signals prior to the elimination of unwanted signals process.
