A method and a decentralized system for processing an order request for a resource are provided. An order request is processed in a decentralized system device (202) of the decentralized system (108). The decentralized system includes at least one operator device, and at least one pallet with an associated wireless pallet device. The method includes receiving (302) the order request for a set of resources. The method further includes obtaining (304) resource information pertaining to the set of resources from a resource information database. Further, a pallet configuration is optimized (306) based on the resource information and the pallet configuration is wirelessly communicated (308) to the at least one pallet device and/or the at least one operator device.

A method of enabling a second RFID reader mobile phone (103) to act as an agent for a first RFID reader mobile phone (105) which sends a token to the second RFID reader mobile phone. The token includes information associated with the first RFID reader mobile phone. The token may also include a token expiration time, which causes the token to be disabled at the end of the token expiration time. The information associated with the first RFID reader mobile phone may include an RFID tag identifier associated with the first RFID reader mobile phone. In other embodiments, the information associated with the first RFID reader mobile phone may include authenticating information.

A method, wireless communication device, and information processing system are provided for monitoring lifestyle activities. The method includes receiving a set of user activity identifiers associated with a set of user activities (804). At least one sensor assigned to each user activity in the set of user activities is identified (1004). At least one user activity context is associated with each user activity in the set of user activities (810). The method also includes monitoring for an occurrence of the at least one user activity context (822). Based on the monitoring, it is determined whether the at least one user activity context has occurred (822). Each sensor (122) assigned to the user activity associated with the at least one user activity context is monitored in response to the at least one user activity context having occurred (1006).
