Abstract:
The invention relates to a machine for wave soldering or tinning comprising a solder reservoir (9); means that can form at least one solder wave with a so-called laminar form (8b); a conveyor system (2) that can bring a piece (1) to be soldered or tinned into contact with said laminar wave; and means for injecting (12) a gas in the vicinity of the wave; characterized in that the said injection means includes an injector located in a position adjacent to and downstream from the wave and provided with a wall (17) facing the solder wave, wherein the wall of the injector has at least a first group (15) of openings positioned so as to provide a first gas jet directed toward the flat surface of the solder wave.

Abstract:
The invention relates to a device for spraying particles of dry ice, notably for the purpose of cleaning surfaces, comprising a spray nozzle (4), allowing the passage of a working fluid carrying said particles, said nozzle (4) having an outlet orifice (5) and comprising a throat (6) and a divergent part (7) said divergent part (7) extending between the throat (6) and the outlet orifice (5) of the nozzle. According to the invention, said divergent part (7) has at least one first stage extending between the throat (6) and an outlet orifice of said first stage (5, 12) and the ratio between the area of the throat (6) and the area of said outlet orifice (5, 12) of the first stage of the divergent part is greater than 0.2.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a supply device for feeding a gas to a wave brazing or tinning machine, wherein said machine is capable of generating at least one soldering wave, comprising: a gas inlet channel, a set of N secondary channels immersed in the solder bath of the brazing or tinning machine, and an injection channel supplying at least one injection means for injecting the gas in the vicinity of said at least one wave, each secondary channel having its inlet end connected to the injection channel, characterized in that the number N of secondary channels is equal to or higher than 1, and in that the inner diameter d of the secondary channels and the gas flow rate Q0 in the inlet channel are selected so that the gas flow in the secondary channels is in a turbulent mode.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a device for producing plastic articles by forming them in an inert atmosphere, the device comprising a hopper, a feed screw and means for forming the polymer melt. The device for injecting inert gas comprises a gas feed pipe, a gas injection surface near the wall of the hopper and a homogenization chamber fitted between the wall of the hopper and the gas feed pipe. That end of the gas feed pipe which is directed towards the injection surface is closed and has at least one radial opening O allowing the gas to be ejected at right angles to its direction of flow in the pipe.
Abstract:
Provided is an apparatus for grinding containers that contain a powder. The apparatus includes (i) a grinder, (ii) an enclosure for confinement of the powder released during grinding, (iii) a supply of an inert atmosphere, and (iv) a conduit which directs the inert atmosphere from the supply into the enclosure. Also provided is a process for grinding containers that contain a powder, the grinding being carried within an atmosphere of an enclosure.
Abstract:
