Abstract:
An internal combustion engine in a working device comprises an oil reservoir near a crankcase to hold oil. An oil measurement device is used to recognize the existence of oil in the oil reservoir and to produce a corresponding signal that is evaluated in an evaluation device to produce an oil level reading. The oil level reading is preferred to be produced only during the starting of the internal combustion engine or within a specific time period after starting the internal combustion engine. When the internal combustion engine has reached its operating RPM, no further oil level monitoring is performed.
Abstract:
An electronic frequency converter is used with a high frequency immersion vibrator in order to compact concrete. The frequency converter comprises a cooling circuit containing a cooling medium; a first heat exchanger which is integrated into said cooling circuit and is used to transmit heat generated in the housing of the frequency converter to the cooling medium; and a second heat exchanger which is integrated into the cooling circuit and is used to outwardly transmit heat absorbed by the cooling medium. The second heat exchanger is received in a vibrator housing of the high frequency immersion vibrator. If the vibrator housing is immersed in concrete, the heat produced in the converter housing can be conducted away to the concrete.
Abstract:
A frequency converter device is integrated inside a cable roller, in such a manner that at least one socket is supplied at special frequency. The socket does not rotate when the cable is wound or unwound on the drum. Furthermore, optimal cooling is created and the frequency converter device is made of at least one frequency converter enabling a special frequency to be provided.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a generating unit driven by a combustion engine. Control of the engine speed is carried out in a known manner via a mechanical control device which controls a throttle valve in the carburetor system of the engine. In case of a failure of the mechanical control device and, consequently, in case of a change in the engine speed outside a predetermined range, an electronic control system takes over to activate a firing element of the engine and control the engine speed, independently from the mechanical control system, in such a way that the engine speed is maintained within the predetermined range.
Abstract:
A cable drum has a rotating winder fitted in a mounting and a frequency converter fitted on the winder. At least one socket outlet of the winder is electrically coupled to the frequency converter and is supplied with an electrical spatial frequency. The integration of the cable drum and frequency converter makes it easier to transport the equipment by reducing weight and the number of pieces.
Abstract:
A soil compacting device has a damping system which couples an upper mass and a lower mass together with a spring system in a vibration system. The damping properties of the damping system can be modified while the device is in operation. Therefore, when the soil compacting device passes over soils having different properties, it can constantly be adjusted in an optimal manner to the ground underneath it by acting on the vibration properties of the overall vibration system.
Abstract:
A tamping device for soil compaction having an upper mass with a drive and a lower mass that can be moved relative to the upper mass with a soil contacting element. In order to cause a working movement of the soil contacting element, a vibration generating device is provided. In addition to the vibration generating device, a manipulating device, for example in the form of a damping body, is provided in an operatively connected manner between the upper mass and the lower mass. The damping properties of the damping body can be modifiable.
Abstract:
A drive system has an engine, a tank container for storing an expendable operating medium for the engine, a filling-level monitoring apparatus for monitoring the filling level in the tank container and/or in a feed line from the tank container to the engine, and an interruption apparatus for interrupting the engine in the case of an imminent lack of operating medium. If the filling level drops below a predefined filling-level height, this is detected by the filling-level monitoring apparatus and reported to the interruption apparatus which thereupon interrupts the drive system. Drive systems which are designed in this way are suitable for use in equipment, for example, in civil engineering, where emptying of the fuel tank frequently occurs as a result of the extreme building-site operation.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a vibrating plate for ground compaction, said plate comprising a remote control device for controlling at least one forward or rear journey by the excitation of an oscillation device. The remote control device comprises an emitter unit, which can be displaced independently of the remaining vibrating plate and which can be detachably fixed to a draw bar. In a remote control mode, the emitter unit is held by the user and displaced independently of the vibration plate. In a draw bar mode, the emitter unit is placed on one end of the draw bar, so that the user can guide the vibrating plate by the pulling and pushing of robust control handles on the emitter unit. The latter can have at least one control handle, which can be used not only to input control commands for controlling the oscillation device, but can also be held by the user to manually guide the vibrating plate.
Abstract:
In order to control automatic working devices, especially soil compacting devices, a remote control device is provided which comprises a transmitter unit which can be actuated by a user and which is used to transmit control signals in the form of electromagnetic radiation and a receiver unit which is arranged on the working device and which outputs the received control signals in the form of electric control commands to the control unit of a working device. During operation of the working device, the transmitter unit can be connected to an external power source, which is arranged on the working device, via a cable for the supply of power thereto.
