    Abstract: PURPOSE:To rewrite stored contents with an erasable programmable read only memory EPROM set by directly setting a rewrite adapter, which is connected to an EPROM rewriting device main body by a cable, to the EPROM set to a package. CONSTITUTION:An adapter 2 for EPROM rewrite is attached to an EPROM 3 set to a package 6. The adapter 2 is connected to an EPROM rewriting device main body 1 by a cable 5, and stored contents of the EPROM 3 are irradiated with ultraviolet rays from a lamp incorporated in the adapter and are erased in accordance with the instruction from the device main body 1. Information which is read from a master ROM and is stored in a memory provided in the EPROM rewriting device main body 1 is sent to the adapter 2 from an incorporated ROM writer and is written in the EPROM 3. Thus, stored contents are updated with the EPROM 3 set to the package 6.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To omit the use of the connection cables and the connectors by adding an optical input device part into the main body of a terminal equipment. CONSTITUTION:An optical input part (an automatic bar code scanner) 2 is set into a lower part of a terminal equipment main body 1 to read the bar codes. At the same time, a keyboard input part 3 and a data display part 4 are set into the upper parts of the main body 1. The part 2 is applied onto a bar code 5. The bar code 5 is read and at the same time the necessary information are inputted to the main body 1 with push of the keys of the part 3 for collection of information. Then the input information is shown at the part 4. Thus no connector nor a connection cable is required for connection of an optical input device since the part 2 is contained in the main body 1.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To decrease hissing sounds by wind effectively by collecting the hissing sounds from a low noise fan and providing a converting circuit for regenerating sounds of opposite phase to that of these sounds by a speaker. CONSTITUTION:A low noise fan 1 is provided with a microphone 3 which can collect the hissing sounds caused each blade of blades 2. The hissing sound by wind inputted from this microphone 3 is converted to an electric signal in A/D converting circuit 4. This electric signal is transmitted to a first Fourier converting circuit 5, a memory circuit 6, a second Fourier converting circuit 7 and D/A converting circuit 8. The output of D/A converting circuit 8 is regen erated as a sound in a speaker 9. Based on the nature of Fourier conversion, the frequency phase of the sound regenerated by speaker 9 is shifted by 180 deg. from that of the sound inputted from the microphone 3. Thereby, the hissing sound by wind air can be eliminated.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To obtain a fingerprint picture with good picture quality and large detection area and without any graphic distortion by providing a tandem transparent electrode on the surface of a curved glass and detecting automatically the fingerprint picture of a finger when the finger is placed on it and sweats. CONSTITUTION:The title device has a curved glass 11 curved so that its inner surface and outer surface may be concentric cylindrical shapes and further, provided inside with a transparent electrode 17 faced to plural tandems and a driving means 4 to fix respectively a one-dimensional sensor 12 equipped with an image forming system fixed so as to focus on the inner surface of the curved glass 11 and a lighting means 13 so as to satisfy all reflection conditions to the inner surfaces of the curved glass 11, to rotatively drive a main scanning mechanism 14 as keeping the conditions and to execute the sub scanning of the one-dimensional image sensor 12 along the outer circumference of the curved glass 11. The tandem transparent electrode 17 is used, that the finger is placed is detected and the driving means 4 is operated. Since it is not until the finger touches and sweats surely that a scanning start signal (a) is obtained, the quality of the obtained picture signal (a) is extremely good and not only the detection area is large but also the graphic distortion becomes small.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To detect a fingerprint image having a wide detected area and no graphic distortion by detecting the fingerprint image of a finger pressed on the curved surface of a curved glass body. CONSTITUTION:A one-dimensionally arranged optical fiber lens 1-6 is equipped and an image sensor 1-2 and an illuminator 1-3 are fixed in the positional relation to satisfy all reflective conditions at the internal surface of a curved glass body 1-1. The image sensor 1-2 detects and outputs the image on the internal surface of the curved glass body 1-1 by the optical fiber lens 1-6. The principle of detection is that the difference of the intensity of the light reflected from a part touched by a skin and a part untouched is converted into an electrical signal and detected by the image sensor 1-2. When a pulse motor 1-4 revolves, the image sensor 1-2 and the illuminator 1-3, while keeping all reflective conditions to the internal surface of the curved glass body 1-1, moves along the external surface periphery of the curved glass body 1-1. Thus, the fingerprint image of the finger can be automatically detected.

At the A/D converter 4, only the video signal part of the video signal, from which a synchronizing signal is eliminated, inputted from a television camera 8 is quantized to eight bits/picture element, and is outputted to a storage circuit 5. Thereby, a mechanical carrying mechanism is made unnecessary, and a small light source for illumination is enough, and the device is miniaturized and inexpensive.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To inform the calculated charge residual quantity of a secondary battery to a user.     Abstract: PURPOSE:To ensure the easy control of a battery by automatically indicating a charge frequency on a battery charger pack. CONSTITUTION:The polarity of a voltage drop generated across a micro resistor 2 is reversed between charge and discharge processes. Voltage across the micro resistor 2 is inputted to a comparator 3, and output therefrom turns into a pulse signal reversing every time the polarity of the voltage drop changes. The output from the aforesaid comparator 3 is inputted to a counter 4, and counted. Then, output from the counter 4, or a charge frequency is always displayed as a value with a display 5.
