Abstract:
An endoscope treatment system has an endoscope having an insertion section, a channel provided along the insertion section, a treating unit insertable into the channel and having at its forward end a treating section, and drive means advanceable and retreatable in the direction parallel to the channel and passing the treating unit through the channel. An engagement member (advance blocking section or advance/retreat blocking section) for engaging the treating unit to a predetermined position at the forward end of the channel is provided near the forward end of the channel.
Abstract:
A surgical instrument includes an insertion section, a first jaw and a second jaw installed at a distal end portion of the insertion section and having a predetermined curved shape, a suture unit, a guide section disposed in at least one of the first jaw and the second jaw, an actuation section having a shaft body movably guided by the guide section and a blade section disposed at a position apart from the shaft body in a direction crossing a direction in which a centerline of the shaft body extends and connected to the shaft body, and a wire extending from a proximal end portion to a distal end portion of the guide section, being returned at the distal end portion of the guide section, and extends toward the proximal end portion of the guide section to be connected to the actuation section.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a medical obturator which can obturate transbronchially a bronchial tube to solve problems in the surgical treatment of pulmonary emphysema, and can be easily fabricated. SOLUTION: The medical obturator includes anchor matter 2 that can be anchored on the bifurcation H4b at which the lumen of a bronchial tube H4 is bifurcated into a plurality of lumens, wherein the anchor matter 2 includes a first obturation 9, a second obturation 10, and an engagement 11; the first obturation 9 can obturate the first bifurcated lumen H4c, i.e., one of the bifurcation H4b; the second obturation 10 can obturate the second bifurcated lumen H4d which is different from the first bifurcated lumen H4c; and the engagement 11 can be engaged with the edge of a junction positioned between the first bifurcated lumen H4c and the second bifurcated lumen H4d. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an endoscope treatment system shortening and facilitating a manual operation by connecting and operating a treatment unit by an one-directional continuous operation. SOLUTION: This endoscope treatment system is provided with an endoscope 3 having an insertion tube 2, a channel 5 provided along the insertion tube 2, the treatment unit 7 insertable into the channel 5 and having a treatment section 6 at its distal end, and an advance driving means 8 freely advanced/retracted in the direction parallel to the channel 5 and advancing the treatment unit 7 into the channel 5. The distal end of the channel 5 is disposed with an advance prevention section 10 locking the treatment unit 7 and preventing the advance of the treatment unit 7, when advancing the treatment unit 7. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an endoscope system precisely extending an insertion part or a treatment device to be inserted in the insertion part from the tip of an over tube to an intended position without bending the insertion part of an endoscope in the overtube. SOLUTION: This endoscope system 100 is provided with the endoscope having an insertion part 28 provided with a curved part 25, curved by an operation of an operation means of an operation part, in its tip; and an overtube 1 having a flexible tube part 3, or a tubular member, for inserting the insertion part 28 and passively curved by the change in the shape of the inserted insertion part 28, and a shape retaining means 4 fixing the flexible tube part 3 in an arbitrary shape, when the insertion part 28 is inserted. This system 100 is provided with a fixing means 31 fixing the overtube and the insertion part 28 of the endoscope to be inserted in the overtube. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an endoscope insertion aid effectively securing a space in a body cavity when inserting an endoscope or the like using overtubes or the like. SOLUTION: This endoscope insertion aid is provided with an inside overtube 1B for inserting the endoscope 20 therein and capable of assuming a shape-variable first state and a shape-fixed second state; and an outside overtube 1A for inserting the inside over tube 1B in the inside and capable of assuming the first state and the second state. The overtubes 1A and 1B are inserted in the body cavity and fixed in the curved state so as to secure the space relative to the body cavity. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a treatment appliance for an endoscope quickly and appropriately performing an intended biopsy and treatment despite the state of a tissue of a target observation site and an approaching direction. SOLUTION: An insertion part 3 comprises an outer sheath 31, a grip 34, and an insertion state changeover mechanism comprising a flex 32, an inner sheath 33 and an operation knob 35. The flex 32 is formed by spirally winding a metal thin belt at a predetermined pitch. The operation knob 35 comprises a turning member 35a and a knob 35b. The tip of the flex 32 is integrally fixed to the tip of the inner sheath 33 and its base end is integrally fixed to the turning member 35a. The flex 32 is in a state of loosely fittedly disposed relative to the inner sheath 33 and in a state of formed with a space relative to the outer sheath 31. An insertion part shape retaining state where the flex 32 and the outer sheath 31 are closely stuck to each other and an insertion part shape variable state where the flex 32 and the outer sheath 31 are separated from each other are changed over by operating the knob 35b.
