Abstract:
A method for manufacturing a plurality of LED illumination devices (100) is provided, each of said devices emitting light with an average value (100a) of a first photometric parameter. A plurality of LED chips (1) that emit approximately the same color light is manufactured. Then, values of the first photometric parameters of the respective LED chips (1) are measured. At least two LED chips (1) each having different first photometric parameter values are combined into groups using the measurement results. In the process, the LED chips (1) are combined into groups such that differences in the average values (100a) of all LED illumination devices (100) cannot be detected by human eyes. Finally, each LED illumination device (100) is equipped with a group of LED chips (1). Also provided is a method for manufacturing a plurality of chip sets for illumination devices (100). In addition, an LED illumination device (100) manufactured using said method is provided.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a motor vehicle headlight element comprising at least one light-emitting diode (20) and at least one control device (10). Said control device (10) is suitable for processing a signal dependent on a measurable quantity and for applying a current corresponding to the signal to the light-emitting diode. The control device (10) and the light-emitting diode (20) are arranged on a common carrier (25).

Abstract:
The invention relates to a lighting device which comprises at least one light-emitting diode (20) and at least one optical element (30), the light-emitting diode (20) and the optical element (30) being adjusted in relation to each other by means of at least one fixing pin (31, 32). The invention also relates to a method for producing the inventive lighting device. The lighting device is especially suitable for use in an automotive headlight.
Abstract:
The invention relates to an LED array having at least two LED chips (2). Said LED array is characterized in that it contains a temperature sensor (3) and in that the operating current of the LED chips (2) is controlled depending on the temperature detected by the temperature sensor (3). The inventive array allows for a long operating time of the LED chips (2) with a high operating current without running the risk of thermal overload.
Abstract:
The invention specifies a motor-vehicle headlamp having at least one light-emitting diode (1) and an apparatus (10, 30, 40, 60) for controllable manipulation of the beam path (21, 22) of the electromagnetic radiation emitted by the light-emitting diode (1). The described motor-vehicle headlamp is distinguished, inter alia, by specially variable emission characteristics.
