Abstract: An elevator system includes elevator cars connected to a controller having a channeling program which controls car dispatching during up-peak. The channeling program automatically or dynamically adjusts or changes the number of cars controlled by the channeling program, dependent upon various service parameters such as Lobby Arrival Interval, Average Waiting Time, Overall Service Time or Hall Call Registration Time.
