    Abstract: An elevator system is provided and includes at least one car; driving elements, each of the driving elements being configured to drive a corresponding car from a waiting area from which at least one passenger boards the corresponding car; at least one sensor configured to identify a presence of more than one passenger intending to board a car and in the waiting area and configured to determine a characteristic of the more than one passenger; and a controller configured to drive more than one car to the waiting area when a capacity of the corresponding car is less than the characteristic of the more than one passenger.

    Abstract: A method of controlling access to a building is provided. The method comprising: receiving a visitor access request for a visitor mobile device; determining a residential group assigned to the visitor mobile device, the residential group including at least one residential mobile device; transmitting the visitor access request to at least one of a resident mobile device within the residential group and a manager device; receiving an access grant from at least one of the resident mobile device within the residential group and the manager device; and granting a visitor mobile device access to at least one of a selected elevator car, a selected door, and a selected floor.

The method comprising: detecting, using a sensor system, performance data for an elevator system, the elevator system including one or more elevator cars; receiving an issue report from a user mobile device; determining a maintenance issue of the elevator system in response to at least one of the issue report and the performance data; and transmitting the maintenance issue to a maintenance device.
