PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable execution of mediation of access competition in a relatively short time, even if the number of communication devices or data streams is increased, to avoid collisions among communication devices that have the same priority level in preferential control, and to execute appropriate access control, according to the traffic conditions, such as, communication volume to prevent performance degradation. SOLUTION: Mediation of an access right by a priority group is combined with slot mediation, the mediation of the priority group is executed in PGA times (PGA0, PGA1) after transmission of a frame P0 is completed, and an accessible priority group is narrowed down. A priority group having obtained an access right executes mediation by a slot number in the next slot mediation zone, and, for instance, a communication device with a slot number 2 allocated thereto transmits a frame P1 at a slot of No. 2. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communication method which can prevent the occurrence of collision to prevent the deterioration in performance even when the number of connected communication apparatuses increases and which can define the maximum delay of transmission to set the priority. SOLUTION: When transmitting data to a PLC modem 100Ty, a PLC model 100Tx starts transmission in common timing in which all the PLC modems can perform transmission (S11). An ID number of a common ID is added to a data frame at such a time, and this ID number is detected by a master PLC modem 100M. The master PLC modem 100M assigns an individual ID to the PLC modem 100Tx and notifies it by a control frame (S30). PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radio communication device and the like that can reduce peak power at the time of reception processing.SOLUTION: A radio communication device comprises: a distortion estimation unit 11 for estimating a consecutive distortion correction value which is a correction value for correcting consecutive signal distortion in the frequency domain of a reception signal; a channel estimation unit 9 for estimating a non-consecutive distortion correction value which is a correction value for correcting non-consecutive signal distortion in the frequency domain of the reception signal after the consecutive distortion correction value is first estimated; and a filter 5 for performing equalization processing in the frequency domain to the reception signal on the basis of the consecutive distortion correction value and non-consecutive distortion correction value.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent miscommunication by properly restricting an area in which communication is possible in a proximity radio communication.SOLUTION: A master device 10 (radio communication device) transmits a beacon signal including information related to a proximity radio communication area 30 in which proximity radio communication is possible, in a predetermined period by using transmission power with which the signal can reach beyond the proximity radio communication area 30. When receiving the beacon signal from the master device 10, a slave device 20 (radio communication terminal) estimates a distance from the master device 10 based on the information in the beacon signal and determines whether the own device is in the proximity radio communication area 30 or not. When it is determines that the own device is present in the proximity radio communication area 30, the slave device 20 notifies the master device 10 and establishes connection between the master device 10 and the slave device 20 by using the proximity radio communication.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a frame control method for performing connection control which is suitable from the viewpoint of transmission efficiency and a delay time in a TXOP period. SOLUTION: In a communication system wherein a control station performs centralized control over a communication bandwidth for traffic of each communication terminal, the frame control method described in the claim comprises a communication state monitoring step of monitoring the communication state of the communication terminal, a connection number ratio determination step of determining a connection number ratio according to the communication state, and a frame connection number control step of controlling a frame connection number in a communication band imparted from the control station on the basis of the connection number ratio. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a signal detector and a signal detection method which detects a frame duration without demodulating a general signal including signals from a wide variety of different systems.SOLUTION: Before a preamble detection unit 101 carries out preamble detection, a threshold control unit 103 sets a first threshold value obtained by adding a first level margin value to average power of an input signal outputted from an average power calculation unit 102. After the preamble detection unit 101 carries out the preamble detection, the threshold control unit 103, when the average power of the input signal outputted from the average power calculation unit 102 is less than the first threshold value, sets a second threshold value obtained by subtracting a second level margin value from the average power. A power detection unit 104, when signal power continues to be less than the second threshold value for a prescribed determination time, determines the termination of a frame duration.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a band allocating method which is efficient from the viewpoint of transmission efficiency and a delay time for a communication system that reports band allocation scheduling using the conventional beacon frame. SOLUTION: The communication system wherein a control station performs centralized control over a communication bandwidth for traffic of each communication terminal includes: a schedule determination step of setting a bandwidth securing period wherein communication is possible without contention with other communication terminals and a retransmission priority section wherein retransmission to a traffic can be preferentially performed; a priority setting step of setting priority of each communication terminal in the retransmission priority section; and a schedule reporting step of reporting the band securing period and retransmission period.
