    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a variable size sensing system capable of adjusting and redefining the size of a sensing area. SOLUTION: A variable size sensing system includes: a first element; a second element; a third element; a fourth element; two image sensing devices; and a mark. The first element, the second element, the third element, and the fourth element are consecutively connected and thereby forming a frame. An inner edge of the frame defines a sensing area of a parallelogram shape. The size of the frame is changed by changing the length of the first element and the third element along a predetermined direction. A reflection material is formed on the surface of the second element, the third element, and the fourth element facing the sensing area. The two image sensing devices are installed at both ends of the first element, so that the two image sensing devices are always positioned in two corners of the sensing area and sense the whole area of the sensing area.
