    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A user equipment (UE) may receive a first indication of a default overlap resolution process for application by the UE on a plurality of overlapping transmissions. The plurality of overlapping transmissions may be collectively scheduled by one or more first downlink control information (DCI) messages received by the UE prior to a processing deadline for multiplexing the plurality of overlapping transmissions. The UE may determine, based on the processing deadline having passed, whether any one of the one or more first downlink control information messages includes a second indication of a transmission-specific overlap resolution process for application by the UE on a first two or more overlapping transmissions of the plurality of overlapping transmissions. The UE may perform a determined overlap resolution process including either the transmission-specific overlap resolution process or the default overlap resolution process.

    Abstract: This disclosure describes methods, devices, and systems for techniques related to wireless communications, and more particularly uplink transmissions on one or more of a physical uplink shared channel (PUSCH) and a physical uplink control channel (PUCCH). Generally, the described techniques support handling collisions between PUSCH repetitions and a PUCCH transmission. A user equipment (UE) may identify that uplink control information (UCI) is scheduled for transmission via an uplink control transmission that overlaps with multiple repetitions of an uplink data transmission. The UE may determine, for each of the multiple repetitions, a quantity of resources available for carrying multiplexed uplink control information, generate encoded UCI by encoding the UCI based on the quantity of resources available in each of the multiple repetitions, and multiplex the encoded UCI on at least a portion of the multiple repetitions based on the quantity of resources available in each of the multiple repetitions.

    Abstract: Aspects are provided for HARQ feedback and retransmission procedures for cooperative relaying in sidelink networks. A relay attempts to decode sidelink data received from a source for relay to a destination. The relay may combine LLRs for the sidelink data and for a retransmission of the sidelink data. The relay determines a resource of a wireless channel for transmitting feedback to the source in response to the decoding attempt. If decoding is successful, the relay transmits the data to the destination. The destination then attempts to decode the data received from the relay. The destination may combine LLRs for the data and for a retransmission of the data. The destination determines a resource of a wireless channel for transmitting feedback to the relay in response to the decoding attempt. The resources are based on a relay identifier associated with the relay.

    Abstract: Apparatus, methods, and computer-readable media for facilitating a resource reservation indication for mode 2 resource allocation with power saving are disclosed herein. An example method for wireless communication at a wireless device includes mapping one or more slots of a sidelink resource reservation to physical slots based on periodic on-durations of a power saving mode for sidelink communication. The example method also includes transmitting SCI indicating the sidelink resource reservation that indicates the one or more slots. Another example method for wireless communication at a first wireless device includes receiving SCI indicating a sidelink resource reservation for a second wireless device, the SCI indicating one or more slots of the sidelink resource reservation. The example method also includes mapping the one or more slots to physical slots based on periodic on-durations of a power saving mode for sidelink communication.

    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. Techniques described herein relate to a user equipment (UE) that may include a wakeup radio in addition to a main radio to monitor for wakeup signals while the UE is in a sleep mode. The wakeup radio receiver may use less power than the main radio. In some examples, a first UE may indicate to a wireless node (e.g., a controlling sidelink UE or a network entity) that the UE is capable of sending wakeup signals to a second UE. In such examples, the wireless node may transmit a wakeup signal intended for the second UE to the first UE based on the capability report. The first UE may relay the wakeup signal to the second UE. Responsive to receiving the wakeup signal, the second UE may wake up the main radio of the second UE for communications.
