    Abstract: Provided are devices and a method that efficiently execute a process of synthesizing broadcast receiving data and network receiving data. An application programming interface (API) is applied to set the broadcast receiving data received by a receiving device via a communication unit to a media source object that is to be processed by an application executed by the receiving device. The application executes the synthesizing process of the broadcast receiving data with the network receiving data received via a network, as a process for the media source object. The application obtains a time offset equivalent to a time difference between an application time axis and a broadcast time axis through the API application process, thereby executing the highly-precise and short-delay data synthesizing process.
