    Abstract: PURPOSE:To simplify remarkably a drive mechanism and also to reduce the weight of a sliding part by using a drive gear which is driven by a single motor to slide a mechanical chassis and to revolve a cassette holding part. CONSTITUTION:A mechanical chassis 4 containing a recording/reproducing part 11 and a cassette holding part 37 is supported in a front-back slidable way. A drive gear 53 engages a gear part 16 of the chassis 4 and a gear part 29 formed at the tip of a rotary arm 26 of the part 37 engages the 2nd rack part 20 of the part 16. In such a constitution, the chassis 4 is pulled out forward with revolution of the gear 53 and the arm 26 is turned upward via both parts 20 and 29 when a pin 43 to be guided of the arm 26 reaches a vertical guide part 45b. Under such conditions, a cassette is loaded. Thus the greater part of a drive part is set within an outer enclosure 2 and therefore the weight of a sliding part is reduced. At the same time, the drive mechanism of a tape recorder is remarkably simplified.

    Abstract: PURPOSE: To reduce the number of using switches and to decrease the wiring work required for production of the switches by inserting a cassette into a cassette holder, closing a specified hole by a lever, and detecting the insertion of the cassette to the cassette holder by a tape end detection mechanism of the cassette.
    CONSTITUTION: When a driving gear 10B and others rotate a press pin 30B no longer pushes up a glossa 28; a lever 27 turns counterclockwise by the energized force of the torsion spring and closes a hole 3A. This causes a press pin 25 not to push a lever 20, and the lever 20 hits and pushes a stopper 22 with the energized force of the spring, and opens a hole 3B.And further, as a gear 10B rotates and the glossa 28 is pushed down by the press pin 30A during the loading a cassette C, the lever 27 revolutes counterclockwise and opens the hole 3A. This causes the pin 30B to push a switch 17A and eventually causes the motor to stop. Accordingly, in the state of the loading of the cassette C is completed, holes 3A and 3B are open. Therefore, the tape end detecting of a magnetic tape is performed without impediment.

SOLUTION: Supporting shafts of the clamp levers 41 are turnably mounted in the middle part of a turntable 21A, and also supporting shafts 52 of detection levers 51 are turnably mounted on the peripheral edge part of the turntable, and detecting end parts 43 of the clamp levers and connecting end parts 53 of the detection levers are connected by a toggle spring 48. The detecting end parts 43,54 of the clamp levers 41 and detection levers 51 are pushed down by the mounted disk D, and when the toggle spring goes beyond a dead point, the disk is pressurized by chuck end parts 44 of the clamp levers 41. In the chucking state, the detection levers are pressed upward by the toggle spring, and when the disk is detached, the clamp levers 41 are automatically recovered.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To enable a stable traveling of a tape by retaining each end of both sides of a torsion coil spring whose coil is supported by a base plate, to a capstan housing and a roller supporting member respectively. CONSTITUTION:Both side ends of a torsion coil spring 12 which coil part 12a is supported by a base plate 1 are retained respectively to a capstan housing 6 for supporting freely rotatably a capstan 8 and a roller supporting member 9 for supporting freely rotatably a pinch roller 11. Then the capstan 8 and the pinch roller 11 are pressingly brought into contact with each other by energizing in putting the capstan housing 6 and the roller supporting member 9 into between both side ends of the torsion coil spring 12. Consequently, since a reaction force of the torsion coil spring 12 is canceled at the time of press- contacting between the capstan 8 and pinch roller 11, a bend of the capstan 8, etc., can be prevented. In this way, the perpendicularity of the capstan 8 is positively maintained at the time of press-contacting between the capstan 8 and pinch roller 11, thus obtaining a stable running of the tape.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To facilitate rewinding by providing an engaging hole for engaging a disengaging pin by which the engagement of a reel lock member with a gear on the outer periphery of the reel of the winding side is prevented, in the vicinity of reel lock member. CONSTITUTION:The rewinding operation of a magnetic tape 6 which is the state of an end of reproduction is performed in such a way that this tape cassette is loaded in a recording and reproducing device provided with a disengaging pin 26 and the pin 26 is inserted through an inserting hole 27 for the pin into the tape cassette, and by this disengaging pin 26, a slant engagement section of a ratchet member 20 is pushed releasing the engagement between a reel lock segment 25 at the top end of the ratchet member 20 and a gear 15 provided on the periphery of the winding reel 5. Therefore, the winding reel 5 becomes free from the prohibited movement of turning in rewinding direction as locked by the ratchet member 20, thus enabling the rewinding operation to take place.
