Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a slip of winding of rolled paper (loosening or lateral slip of recording paper) and to simply fit the rolled paper to an image forming device. SOLUTION: The surface of fore end of the recording paper 31 being the outermost layer in the rolled paper 30 and the surface of the recording paper 31 being the layer inside the above are fixed by a driving flange side tape 41 and a driven flange side tape 42 which are stuck to the inner peripheral surface of a cardboard tube 32, and both lateral sides of the roll-shaped recording paper 31 are also held thereby respectively. The rolled paper 30 in this state is held between a driving flange 21 and a driven flange 22 of a paper holder 20 and fitted, and fixation of the recording paper 31 being the outermost layer by the driving flange side tape 41 and the driven flange side tape 42 is canceled. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device and method for file management, which can simplify management file preparing work, when the device and method and applied to a system which manages video data by storing the data in a server after encoding the data. SOLUTION: In the method for file management, a subject matter file FS and a management file FTR containing stream data which have quantity of data smaller than the file FS has, are prepared simultaneously in parallel with each other.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize a printer capable of being miniaturized irrespective of the number of operation switches. SOLUTION: A printer has an openable door 5, and is charged with a recording medium inside, in which there are provided with operational switches 7A-7H disposed a the predetermined position of the door 5 so as to be expressed when the door 5 is opened by a predetermined degree, and door open and close among a first position of a closed state, a second position of an opened state that can charge recording medium, and a third position of a state opened by a predetermined degree, as a result, this can reduce a space for providing operation switches on the surface, thereby allowing the device to be downsized.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize a printer that can obtain high-quality printed images stably. SOLUTION: A printer in which a head 25 is pressed to a platen 18 thereby carrying out printing has a head reference part integrally formed with the head 25, a platen reference part integrally set with the platen 18 to correspond to the head reference part, and a pressuring means for pressing the head 25 in touch with the platen 18. After the head 25 is positioned to the platen 18 to press the head reference part and platen reference part, the head 25 is pressed by the pressuring means into touch with the platen 18.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a material information storage device capable of reducing the scale of racks based on the storing amount of material information. SOLUTION: Input material recording cassettes CT1 and preserved material recording cassettes CT2, cassette sizes of which are common, are allowed to house on a common rack 11A, and also the input material recording cassette CT1, which has completed the preservation of the material information to the preserved material recording cassette CT2, is made to be ejected. By this procedure, the housing rate of the input material recording cassettes CT1 to the preserved material recording cassette CT2 housed on the rack 11A is made to increase gradually.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a data transfer device capable of transferring data by a prescribed data transfer rate and a proper timing. SOLUTION: A buffer 4 is provided with a read/write control circuit 8, an input 6, an output 5 and a transfer port 9. A SCSI interface 20 is connected to the port 9 and the reading/writing control parts 7 and 8. The SCSI interface executes a data transfer command by unfixed time delay with the port 9. An RS422 interface is connected to the read/write control circuit 8 so as to execute the transfer command for executing transfer with the input 6 and the output 5. The command is synchronized with a video synchronizing signal Sync and executed by a little prescribed delay.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To arrange a plurality of asynchronous network I/Fs in an AV server, transfer AV files rapidly from the AV server to a plurality of clients, and prevent a stop of supply of AV files to the clients even when part of the network I/Fs fails. SOLUTION: A system comprises load monitoring means for computing the magnitude of a load on each network I/F 12(1) to 12(N), detecting means for detecting a failure in each network I/F, and assigning means for responding to a network I/F assignment request sent from any client 2(1) to 2(12) by assigning the client the network I/F without a failure detected by the detecting means that has the smallest load computed by the load monitoring means of the network I/Fs 12(1) to 12(N). PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a file management system and a file management method that can enhance the accuracy of the frames of a management file in the case that this method is applied to e.g. a system where video data are coded, stored in a server and managed by forming a corresponding management file. SOLUTION: A control means 15 of this invention monitors a time code and instructs generation of the management file FTR by using a direct trigger GPI based on the monitoring result.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately detect the presence or absence of a storage madium wound in a roll shape. SOLUTION: By providing a holder which holds a recording medium 8 rotatably on a winding shaft where a storage medium 8 is wound in a roll shape as a center and a positioning holding means positioning and holding this holder, a contact sensor 15 is always and stably brought into contact with the storage medium 8 wound in a loaded roll shape, the presence or absence of this storage medium 8 can be stably detected by the contact sensor 15 and thereby a printer device capable of accurately detecting the presence or absence of the storage medium 8 wound in a roll shape can be realized.
