PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To automatically reproduce out music corresponding to the sender of electronic mail, for example, at a time point, when the electronic mail is received. SOLUTION: Electronic mail addressed to a user is fetched from a mail server 85, a domain name contained in the mail address of the sender of the relevant fetched electronic mail is extracted and a music file previously made correspondent to the relevant extracted domain name is reproduced out so that the user can recognize who sends the electronic mail at the time point, when the electronic mail addressed to the user is fetched from the mail server 85.
Abstract:
PURPOSE:To feed by one stepping motor at high and low speeds by applying a binary control code to exciters of phases of the motor the feed in a full step at a high speed, and applying a multivalue control code to feed at a microscopic angle of high resolution. CONSTITUTION:A microcomputer 1 forms a code for controlling the rotating angle of a stepping motor 3 (4 phases in the drawing) and outputs it at a predetermined timing. Exciters 2 (2-1-2-4) provided for phases phi1-phi4 latch a control code for digital excitation from the microcomputer 1 by a latch 21, D/A- converted by a D/A converter 22, and amplified by an amplifier 23 to excite the phases phi1-phi4. The microcomputer 1 forms a binary control code in a normal step at the time of high speed, and forms a multivalue code for fine division of a normal step angle at the time of high resolution. The codes are fed to a data line 11, distributed to the exciters 3 at a phase signal line 12, and turned ON, OFF at an enable line 13. Thus, the high and low speed feedings can be performed by one motor.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a blood coagulation system analysis method with which both the acceleration and the reduction of blood coagulation property can be evaluated easily using whole blood.SOLUTION: A blood coagulation system analysis method is provided for acquiring information on blood coagulation property on the basis of a change incurred in a complex dielectric constant spectrum measured in a blood coagulation process by adding to blood a material that activates or inactivates platelets. According to the blood coagulation system analysis method, in the case where a platelet activator is used for the material, on the basis of a change incurred in the complex dielectric constant spectrum with platelet activation by the material, information on the coagulation property of platelets contained in blood in an inactive state can be acquired. Furthermore, in the case where a platelet inactivator is used for the material, on the basis of a change incurred in the complex dielectric constant spectrum with platelet inactivation by the material, information on the coagulation property of platelets contained in blood in an active state can be acquired.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cell sorter and a cell sorting method that can sort cells in a reliable manner without requiring delay time setting for each flow path design.SOLUTION: When a cell C passes between detection electrodes 19a and 19b provided at a previous stage of a sorting circuit, a detection circuit 21 detects the presence of the cell C. If, at this time, a determination signal has been supplied to gate circuits 23 and 24, a flip-flop 25 is set when the presence of the cell C is detected, a switch 27 being ON and a voltage being applied to working electrodes. This changes the course of the cell C. When the cell C passes between detection electrodes 20a and 20b at a subsequent stage, a detection circuit 22 detects the passage of the cell. As a result, a detection signal is supplied to the gate circuit 24, the flip-flop 25 being reset and the switch 27 being OFF. This cancels the formation of working electric fields by a working electrode pair 18.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image reproducing system, information processor, image reproducing method, and program for achieving reproduction of an image stream distributed or achieving reproduction of a switched image different from the image stream by switching for each information processor. SOLUTION: The image reproducing system includes an image distribution server and one or more information processors. The image distribution server includes an image distributor for stream distribution of image stream, a switched image distributor for distributing the switched image, and a control information distributor for distributing control information. The information processor includes a receiver for receiving image stream, switched image, and control information, a storage for storing the switched image and control information, an image stream reproducing part for stream reproduction of image stream, a switched image reproducing part for reproducing the switched image stored, and a reproducing and switching control part for controlling switching between stream reproduction and switched image reproduction on the basis of the stored control information. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cell collector, a cell collection chip, and a cell collection method which have excellent responsiveness and can securely collect cells, even in an environment of slow flow rate.SOLUTION: The cell collector comprises a flow path, an electric field application part, and a branch part. Through the flow path, a liquid containing cells flows. The electric field application part can apply an electric field having gradient in a direction different from a direction of the flow of the liquid at a first position in the flow path, according to collection signals instructing collection of cells. The branch part branches cells to which the electric field is applied and whose flow directions are changed by dielectrophoresis force, at a second position downstream of the first position in the flow path.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dielectric cytometry device which enables cells to be analyzed and sorted without using an optical analysis, and a cell sorting method using dielectric cytometry.SOLUTION: A dielectric spectrocytometry device includes a micro flow path device MF that is used as a part of the dielectric spectrocytometry device. In a cell input part 3b of the micro flow path device MF, a constricted path is formed through which a single cell can pass. In the constricted path, a measuring electrode pair 4a and 4b is formed. Complex permittivity is measured by an analyzer connected to the measuring electrode pair 4a and 4b. Based on information about the measured complex permittivity, an electric field to change the direction of cell flow is applied in a flow path at an electric field applying part 8 provided downstream of the constricted path. This causes cells to be sorted utilizing branch paths 2a and 2b.
