Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make an index of birefringence in the peripheral direction of a resin substrate uniform and thereby make the manufacture of the highly reliable resin substrate highly efficient, when a plurality of resin substrates are simultaneously molded using a plurality of cavities formed in one mold. SOLUTION: The mold 3 is closed by butting a cavity part 1 and a movable part 2 of a mold to each other and a first molding cavity 4 and a second molding cavity 5 are formed. A molten resin material is diverged into sprue spaces 6 and 7 through a nozzle 8 of a molding machine. Immediately before the first molding cavity 4 and the second molding cavity 5 are filled with the molten resin material, the molten resin material is transferred in a straight line over a specified distance 1 or longer, in positive terms, 135 mm or longer, through the sprue spaces 6 and 7 and nozzles 8b and 8c.
