    Abstract: A fluid control valve for an inline fluid control system comprising a housing having a fluid inlet and a fluid outlet, the housing having a rectangular shaped fluid passage for fluid to flow therethrough, the housing having a first cylindrical passage located therein and a second cylindrical passage located therein wit h the first cylindrical passage and the second cylindrical passage located in coaxial alignment with each other, the first cylindrical passage having a first diameter and second cylindrical passage having a second diameter with the first diameter larger than the second diameter and a stepped plunger slidably located in the first cylindrical passage and the second cylindrical passage, the plunger slidable with respect to the rectangular shaped fluid passage to permit one to increase or decrease the area for fluid to flow through the fluid passage, the stepped plunger having an enlarged portion to prevent the stepped plunger from being accidentally withdrawn from the housing and a flow control knob having threads for rotationally engaging the housing and a shoulder for engaging the stepped plunger so that rotation of the flow contr ol knob on the housing axially displaces the plunger to increase or decrease the area f or fluid to flow through the housing to thereby control the flow rate of fluid through t he fluid valve in accordance with the rotation of the flow control knob. The flow control valve disassemble for cleaning and having vent passage to prevent accidental injur y to a person as the valve is disassembled for cleaning.

    Abstract: A fluid valve and bin aerator (20) for discharging fluid into a chamber while preventing backflow of fluid through the fluid valve with the fluid valve including a resilient member (25) having a set of annular sealing lips (26,27) located in concentric alignment and at an angle to a sealing surface to provide lips that will cantilever away from the sealing surface and unseal if the pressure on the interior of the fluid valve is greater than on the exterior of the valve to allow fluid to be discharged from the valve, and will cantilever against the sealing surface if the pressure on the exterior of the valve is greater than the pressure on the inside of the valve to seal the fluid valve and inhibit backflow through the fluid valve.

    Abstract: A pneumatic switch (10) having a wiper seal (22) to inhibit material from escaping from a pneumatic conveying line (13) during a switching process and to maintain the pneumatic conveying line in a closed condition to prevent contamination of the contents of the pneumatic conveying line (13) and an inflatable seal (25) to seal around a pneumatic conveying line (13) with the pneumatic switch (10) including a movable housing (16) that is moveable with respect to a second pneumatic conveying line (18). The movable housing (16) bearing is carried by a movable plate (12) that allows one to position or reposition the pneumatic conveying line (18) with respect to another conveying line (13) to thereby divert material from one conveying line to another conveying line while an inflatable seal (25) allows one to seal and reseal around the pneumatic conveying line. A drive mechanism (30) with preset stops allows one to position or reposition the pneumatic conveying lines with respect to one another and a pneumatic bearing purge system inhibits the pneumatic switch from being jammed during the switching process.

    Abstract: A pneumatic conveyor tube booster valve constructed from an annular tapered rubber sleeve in line with the tube and a sealed pressurized housing surrounding the sleeve portion of the tube. Pressurized gas introduced into the housing escapes past the rubber sleeve when the tube pressure drops below the housing pressure by a predetermined amount and enters the tube in substantially the same direction in which material in the tube is moving. Annular lips on the conveyor tubes supports the rubber sleeve against pressures in the tube.
