The water-intake space and the water container installation space may be arranged in the door opening of the inner door to be accessed while the inner door is closed.
Abstract:
A refrigerator includes an apparatus for producing dairy products. The refrigerator includes an outer cabinet, an inner cabinet provided inside the outer cabinet and including a refrigerator compartment to formed therein, and an dairy product maker provided inside the refrigerator compartment. The dairy product maker includes a case including a suction port and a discharge port to allow cool air to flow in and out, respectively, a container to store the produced dairy product therein, a heater to apply heat to the container to produce the dairy product in the container, ribs protruding from an inner surface of the case to form a cooling flow channel with the inner surface and provided between the suction port and the discharge port to cool the container, and a guide slit to guide the produced dairy product overflowing into the cooling flow channel, to a bottom surface of the case.
Abstract:
A refrigerator including a main body having a storage compartment, a door rotatably provided on the main body to open and close the storage compartment, and an automatic water supply device. The automatic water supply device includes a water supply case, a bucket detachably mounted on the water supply case, and a water level sensor provided to detect a water level in the bucket, and is configured to supply water to the bucket depending on the water level in the bucket. The door includes a dyke protruding from a rear surface of the door to form an accommodation space in which the water supply case is accommodated, and the water supply case is coupled to the dyke.
Abstract:
A refrigerator includes a compressor, a condenser, an evaporator, switching valve, an ice-making device, a controller, and a first refrigerant pipe and a second refrigerant pipe connected between the condenser and the evaporator. The switching valve is configured to guide the refrigerant condensed in the condenser to the first refrigerant pipe or the second refrigerant pipe. The ice-making device allows the first refrigerant pipe to pass therethrough and configured to cool water stored in an ice-making tray. The controller is configured to control the switching valve to guide the refrigerant to the ice-making device through the first refrigerant pipe. In response to a temperature of the ice-making tray falling to a level lower than or equal to a reference temperature, the controller is configured to control the switching valve to prevent the refrigerant from being guided to the first refrigerant pipe and supply water to the ice-making tray.
Abstract:
Disclosed is a refrigerator including an ice maker. The refrigerator an ice making tray in which ice is generated, an ice bucket to store ice separated from the ice making tray, a full ice detection lever to rotate toward the ice bucket to detect whether the ice bucket is fully filled with ice, a manipulation lever manipulated outside the ice maker to move between a first position and a second position, and a stopper to rotate in conjunction with the movement of the manipulation lever and interfere with the rotation of the full ice detection lever.
Abstract:
The disclosure relates to a refrigerator having an ice maker with an improved structure. The refrigerator includes an ice maker installable in the door, and including a frame, an ice-making tray which is detachably mounted on the frame, configured to contain ice, and a water bucket which is rotatable while mounted on the frame, configured to supply water to the ice-making tray. The water bucket may include a rotating shaft as a rotation center about which the water bucket is rotatable, and a moving guide spaced apart from the rotating shaft and movable around the rotating shaft. The frame may include a rotating shaft coupling portion to which the rotating shaft is rotatably coupled, and a guide rail on which at least a portion of the moving guide is supported, configured to guide a rotational movement of the water bucket.
Abstract:
A refrigerator is provided. The refrigerator includes a main body having a storage compartment, and an ice maker provided in the storage compartment to make ice. The ice maker includes a cooling device to provide cold air, an ice-making tray movably provided between a first position adjacent to the cooling device and a second position spaced farther from the cooling device than the first position, and an ejector is configured to move the ice-making tray. The ejector includes a driving portion to separate the ice produced in the ice-making tray.
Abstract:
A refrigerator including a main body having a storage compartment; a door rotatably coupled to the main body to open or close the storage compartment; and an icemaker and an ice bucket configured to store ice cubes produced by the icemaker. The ice bucket is provided with a feeding device to feed the ice cubes stored therein. The main body includes a driving device configured to drive the feeding device. When the door is closed, the driving device is connected to the feeding device, and when the door is opened, the driving device is disconnected from the feeding device.
Abstract:
A refrigerator includes an ice making chamber having an ice making tray, an ice making chamber refrigerant pipe to supply cool air to the ice making tray, and an ice making chamber circulation fan to circulate air in the ice making chamber. A control method to prevent frost from being formed in the ice making chamber includes determining whether temperature of the ice making chamber is lower than a predetermined temperature; and driving the ice making chamber circulation fan to prevent frost from being formed in the ice making chamber upon determining that the temperature of the ice making chamber is lower than the predetermined temperature. Driving the ice making chamber circulation fan to prevent frost includes driving the ice making chamber circulation fan for a predetermined period of time when the temperature of the ice making chamber is lower than the predetermined temperature.
