Abstract: According to various embodiments, the electronic device comprises: a communication circuit; and at least one processor operatively connected to the communication circuit, wherein the at least one processor can: establish communication connection with a display device by means of the communication circuit; confirm channel information of a first channel in which the communication connection has been established; confirm image information of an image displayed on the display device; and confirm whether or not the electronic device can transmit a data frame at every communication cycle corresponding to a frame rate provided in the display device, on the basis of the channel information of the first channel and the image information. Various embodiments are possible.
