Abstract:
An exercise mat assembly includes an exercise mat that is comprised of a resiliently compressible material thereby enhancing comfort for a user positioned on the exercise mat. Grid indicia are applied to the exercise mat which comprises a grid of squares thereby facilitating the user to place their hands or feet in selected ones of the grid of squares to assist the user with accurately performing exercise poses. Numbering indicia are applied to the exercise mat which comprises a series of numbers each associated with a respective one of the grid of squares to assist the user with placing their hands or feet a predetermined distance apart for altering a level of difficulty of the exercise poses.
Abstract:
Many types of stabilized lock-seam tubing are provided, as well as devices, apparatus and methods for producing such stabilized tubing. Advantageously, pinch-locked tubing according to the invention, which comprise interlocking, spaced pinched deformations of the lock-seam, greatly resists side-slip and other shape deformations, including those typically produced by cutting the tubing, and by ovalizing it. Many permutations of lock-seam pinching rollers and related devices for producing stabilized lock-seam tubing are provided. Pinch roller assemblies of the invention are suitable for use with conventional machines as well as machines adapted specifically for them. Apparatus of the invention are suitable producing helically wound or straight lock-seam tubing.
Abstract:
A balance assembly (15) is provided for a sash window assembly (10). The sash window assembly (10) has a sash window (12) slidable within a master frame (14). The balance assembly (15) has an elastomer balance member (30) having one end adapted to be connected to the master frame (14) and another end adapted to be connected to the sash window (12) to provide an upward biasing force to the sash window (12). A system (50) is provided for custom-manufacturing the balance member (30) and for custom-manufacturing a sash window assembly (10) incorporating the balance member (30).
Abstract:
A muntin clip assembly (40) is provided for connecting a muntin bar (36) having a muntin bar end (38) to a spacer frame (30). The assembly includes a bar support (42) having a tree (46) adapted to be connected to the muntin bar end (38) and a flexible leg (48). The assembly also includes a base member (44) having a slot (56) for receiving the leg (48) and a flexible wing (58) adapted to be connected to the shoulders (35) of the spacer frame (30).
Abstract:
A radar antenna for a guided missile is calibrated in flight using a point source of microwave radiation and a lens to emulate a far field source. The microwave source and lens fit behind a metal cap at the leading end of the radome and so do not adversely affect the radar. A variety of techniques to power the point source are disclosed, and a variety of lens arrangements are disclosed. The invention allows a radar antenna to be calibrated in flight, and so insures against mis-calibration due to aging components as well as the heat and mechanical forces associated with storage and/or launch of the missile.
