Abstract: PURPOSE:To miniaturize a runner and a hanger rail, to prevent the generation of noises at the time of operation and to conduct the angular adjusting operation of a slat easily by adjusting the angle of the slat without using a tilted shaft. CONSTITUTION:In a vertical blind, in which slats 3 are suspended and born rotatably from a large number of runners 2 in a hanger rail 1 respectively and each slat 3 is transferred along the hanger rail 1, slat driving shafts 39, 41 are supported rotatably from each runner 2 respectively, and the slats 3 are hung down and born to the lower ends of the slat driving shafts 39, 41. One ends of arms 38 are installed at the upper ends of each slat driving shaft 39, 41 respectively, and the other ends of each arm 38 are engaged with one tilted rail 8 rotatably and movably. When the tilted rails 8 are operated at one end of the hanger rail 1, the angles of the slats 3 are adjusted.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To obtain a fitting structure of a side cap of a vertical blind which is easily detachable and excellent in the external appearance, by providing a fitting piece at a side cap closing the side end of a hanger rail and a fixing means to fix the side cap at the side ring fitted to the outer peripheral face of the rail and the fitting piece. CONSTITUTION:A wedge 15 provided in a fitting piece 12 is fitted in a pierced hole 16 of a hanger rail 1. Next, side rings 11a, 10b are fitted to the hanger rail 1 in the state that the side cap 9 is positioned at the end of hanger rail 1. Then the side cap 9 and a control case 4 are easily fixed. In this way, the side cap can be easily attached to the hanger rail 1 or detached therefrom. The fitting structure of the side cap 9 with an excellent external appearance can be obtained.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To prevent mechanical breakage even in case a sensing means for the slat rotating angle has gone in failure. CONSTITUTION:A stepping motor 54 is mounted on a motor mounting plate 52 which is installed in a tilt case 4, and a rack 56 is meshed with a gear 55 mounted on the output shaft of the stepping motor 54. A slat rotating mechanism is installed to rotate slats with the aid of reciprocation of the rack 56, while a control means operates the stepping motor 54 upon calculation of the slat rotating angle on the basis of a sensing signal given by a sensing means for the slat rotating angle. The motor mounting plate 52 is fitted with stoppers 59a, 59b to set the max. moving range of the rack 56 which corresponds to the allowable angle for slat rotation.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To simplify the adjustment and maintenence works by decreasing the number of limit switches and using a stepping motor in adjustment of the slat angle. CONSTITUTION:Through a wiring cord 48 a control device 49 is connected with a tilt case 4, and an operational switch 51 is connected with the control device 49 through a wiring cord 50, and the operations of a linear motor and a stepping motor are controlled on the basis of the program which was preset from the switch 51, and thereby drawing-out/folding of the slats 3 and adjustment of the angle are performed. The control device 49 acknowledges the rotating angle of the slats 3 on the basis of the sensing signal of a photo-interrupter and the number of pulses of the pulse signal which drives the stepping motor. When a signal to indicate angle adjustment of slats 3 is fed to the control device 49 from the operational switch 51, the control device actuates the stepping motor to rotate the slats 3, and when they attain the full closed condition as parallel with a hanger rail 1, their further rotating is stopped.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To reduce noise and vibration generated when slats are conveyed, decrease the number of limit switches to be mounted, and simplify the adjustment and maintenance of them. CONSTITUTION:A number of runners 2 are movably supported within a hanger rail 1, and slats 3 are supported suspendedly at the respective runners 2. A three-phase AC linear motor is installed in a guide rail 5 arranged along the hanger rail 1, and the leading runner 31 is moved by the needle 24 of linear motor so that drawing-out and folding of the slats 3 are performed. Limit switches 69 to sense the origin of the needle are installed at the ends of the guide rail 5, and a control device 49 is installed which supplies three-phase control current to the needle 24 and calculates the moving position of the needle 24 by counting pulses of the control current from the origin.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To provide a slat conveying device for motor-driven vertical type blind, which uses a linear motor as the drive motive for slat conveyance and which allows easy locating of limit switches for sensing the origin of the needle of linear motor and the stator of linear motor. CONSTITUTION:A number of runners are movably supported within a hanger rail 1, and slats are supported suspendedly at the runners. A linear motor is installed in a guide rail 5 arranged along the hanger rail 1. The leading runner is moved by the needle 24 of linear motor to perform drawing-out and folding of the slats. Limit switches 35 to sense the origin of the needle 24 are installed at the ends of the guide rail 5. A locating piece 45 to locate the ends of stators 23a, 23b of the linear motor and a mounting piece 38 to attach the limit switch 35 are formed in a single piece with a cap 36 which is attached to the end of guide rail 5.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lower-limit position adjusting device for a bottom rail, capable of easily adjusting slats by pitch. SOLUTION: In the horizontal blind, the bottom rail 1 is suspended and supported by a ladder cord 2 made to droop from a head box, and the multistage slats 5 are supported on the ladder cord 2. At least one slat 5 is attached to the bottom rail 1 in a sandwiched manner.
