Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a microcapsulated ultraviolet-curing pressure-sensitive adhesive which can be attached sufficiently without performing curing by ultraviolet radiation and attaching by pressure immediately after applying the ultraviolet-curing pressure sensitive adhesive, and is suitable for production of various forms in a small quantity, and to provide an information carrying sheet using the microcapsulated ultraviolet-curing pressure-sensitive adhesive. SOLUTION: The microcapsulated ultraviolet-curing pressure-sensitive adhesive is applied to superposing surfaces of sheets to form by ultraviolet radiation a curing layer that does not adhere in a normal state and detachably sticks the surfaces to be superposed by bringing these surfaces into contact with each other and giving a predetermined pressure. The ultraviolet-curing pressure-sensitive adhesive containing a microcapsule dispersion liquid obtained by microcapsulating a core substance having at least one type of an acrylic photopolymerizable component as an essential component and by dispersing the core substance in water is coated on a predetermined part on the superposing surfaces of a base sheet to obtain the information carrying sheet having the cured layer that is ultraviolet-cured. SOLUTION: The ink for forming the inkjet ink receiving layer comprising a hydrophobic binder resin, an organic solvent compatible with the binder resin, a hydrophilic porous fine particle and a pearl pigment, is used. A conventional problem is solved by using the sheet prepared by forming the inkjet ink receiving layer on a specified part of at least one face of a sheet base by using this ink. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a card with an inkjet ink receiving layer formed at a necessary part of a plastic card with such advantages that the fixability of inkjet ink to the inkjet ink receiving layer and water resistance are superb; no bleeding occurs; and the high-quality printing/imaging can be realized, such as a magnetic card, an IC card and a rewrite card, mainly a plastic card. SOLUTION: This card is formed using ink for forming an inkjet ink receiving layer containing an acrylic photopolymerization component with not less than three functions and a photopolymerization initiator as essential principal components and an acrylic photopolymerization component with less than three functions as an optional component, at a specified part on at least one surface of the card. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermosensitive recording sheet which can be used outdoors on account of its superb water resistance and water blocking properties without printing failure and printed using a thermosensitive printer. SOLUTION: This thermosensitive recording sheet 1 has a protecting layer 7 containing a liquid water-repellent substance microcapsule in order to coat and protect the surface of a thermosensitive color development layer 3 formed at a specified spot on a sheet base material. In this sheet 1, the microcapsule is crushed to discharge the effective amount of the substance. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermosensitive coating liquid capable of easily making a thermosensitive recording sheet with a thermosensitive color development layer excellent in water resistance and water-resistant blocking properties to be used outdoors without printing failure and being printed by using a thermosensitive printer and a method for easily manufacturing the same. SOLUTION: The thermosensitive color development layer 3 is formed by applying the thermosensitive coating liquid containing a thermosensitive color development component and a liquid water-repellent substance microcapsule to a specified spot on a sheet base material 3 and the microcapsule in the layer 3 is crushed. A meter reading slip 1 has the layer 3 formed by applying the liquid to the specified spot on a sheet base material 2, and a frame 4 for a recording column, an issuer name 5 and various information 6 previously printed by known methods such as gravure and offset. In addition, during manufacturing this sheet, pressure is applied to the layer 3 by a calender roll or a guide roll so that the microcapsule in the layer 3 is crushed to discharge the water-repellent substance such as silicone oil, fluorine oil, liquid paraffin and the like which in turn, becomes liberated onto the surface of the layer 3.
