    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a racket which has a high repulsion, is light-weight, and has a favorable swing-through property, of which the load to an elbow joint is less, and in addition, which is excellent in physical properties such as impact strength. SOLUTION: This racket is made of a fiber-reinforced plastic wherein a ratio n1 /n0 between a crossing point number n1 of a gut 5 where the dynamic rigidity becomes 2N/mm or higher when the vibration is detected at a location being 50 mm from the end of a grip 3 of the racket frame by impulse-exciting the crossing points of the gut 5, and a crossing point number n0 of the gut 5 for the overall face part 1, becomes n1 /n0 >=0.4, and the fiber-reinforced plastic comprises a matrix resin and a reinforcing fiber for the constitution. In this case, at least at one part in a range which is 160 mm or less from the end of the grip 3 of a bent pipe made of the fiber-reinforced plastic forming the frame, a straight pipe portion wherein the outer peripheral length in the direction which is orthogonal to the racket longitudinal direction is 90 mm or longer, is provided, and on the outside of the straight pipe portion, a grip protective member is directly wound.
