    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a flame-retardant resin composition having high flame- retardancy without using halogenated organic compound, with excellent mechanical strength and molding processability, and with excellent transparency in case applied to a transparent rubber reinforced styrenic resin, and to provide molding comprising it. SOLUTION: This flame-retardant resin composition comprises a phosphoric flame-retardant (B) and an epoxy compound (C) having weight average molecular weight of 1000 or lower and containing no halogen, added in a specified ratio to a rubber reinforced styrenic resin (A), exhibiting high flame-retardancy and excellent mechanical strength and molding processability, and further giving excellent transparency in case applied to a transparent rubber reinforced styrenic resin.

    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a resin composition having excellent mechanical performances, small anisotropy of the molding, and among others, excellent thermal resistance and retention stability. SOLUTION: This thermoplastic resin composition comprises (A) 1 to 99 pts.wt. of a crystalline thermoplastic resin, and (B) 99 to 1 pts.wt. of a copolymer comprising (i) an unsaturated carboxylic acid alkyl ester unit, (ii) a glutaric acid anhydride unit expressed by formula (1) (where R and R are the same or different and each represents hydrogen atom or a 1-5C alkyl group), or a copolymer having (iii) an unsaturated carboxylic acid unit in addition to the above units, or a copolymer having (iv) another vinylic monomer unit in addition to the above (i) (ii) or (i) (ii) (iii) units.

    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a flame-retardant resin composition which has high flame retardance and excellent light resistance and transparency without impairing excellent essential mechanical characteristics of a rubber-reinforced styrene-based resin, without using a halogen-based organic compound for the rubber-reinforced styrene-based resin. SOLUTION: This flame-retardant resin composition comprises 100 pts.wt. of the rubber-reinforced styrene-based resin (A), 0.1-10 pts.wt. of a modified phenol-based resin (B), 1-30 pts.wt. of a phosphorus-based flame retardant (C) and 0.1-5 pts.wt. of a phosphorous ester-based compound and has >=60% total light transmittance measured at 23 deg.C. This molding comprises the flame- retardant resin composition.

    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a flame-retardant resin composition having a high level of flame retardance without using a halogen organic compound in a rubber- reinforced styrene resin and simultaneously having excellent light resistance and further excellent transparency without deteriorating excellent mechanical characteristics essential to the rubber-reinforced styrene resin. SOLUTION: This flame-retardant resin composition is characterized in that a modified phenolic resin (B) in an amount of 0.1-10 pts.wt. based on 100 pts.wt. of the rubber-reinforced styrene resin (A) and a phosphorus flame retardant (C) in an amount of 1-30 pts.wt. based on 100 pts.wt. of the rubber-reinforced styrene resin (A) are contained and the total light transmittance measured at 23 deg.C is >=60%. The molded product comprises the flame-retardant resin composition.
