Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polyester conjugated fiber capable of giving a cloth which has a feeling of irregularity similar to a natural fiber, by resolving such a problem that a knitted fabric made of a conventional conjugated fiber is not enough in a resilient feeling, nor in a firm/springy feeling. SOLUTION: This polyester conjugated fiber comprises a side-by-side-type conjugated fiber which is composed of (A) a high-viscosity polyester component of polyethylene terephthalate having ethylene terephthalate repeating units in an amount of ≥85 mol.% and (B) a low-viscosity polyester component, wherein the fiber has a size of single yarn of 12-35 dtex, and has an unevenness of the size in the longitudinal direction so that an average length of a thick part of the size is 20 cm or longer. Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for stably spinning a stretch-back stock yarn equipped simultaneously with a natural fiber like puffy feeling and high bulkiness caused by different crimp-developing properties among single yarns, and a stretching property and tense/stiff feeling by solving the defects in conventional technologies.
