Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance the commodity value of a plastic molded product used as an interior part for a car or the like by applying a novel decoration generating thickness or three-dimensional feeling to the surface of the molded product. SOLUTION: Two patterns 2, 3 printed on the upper and rear surfaces of a transparent base material 1 being a plastic molded product are superposed on upon another to obtain one synthetic pattern and, especially, the patterns 2, 3 are formed as dot patterns comprising gray dots 6 and a coating film 5 of black coating is formed on the rear surface of the transparent base material 1 to obtain a novel synthetic pattern having a good design similar to a weaving pattern of carbon cloth having a high grade feeling.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To manufacture surely easily a resin molded product having a pattern equivallent to a conventional hair line work product made of a metallic product wherein a surface is seen as a metal surface on which, as it were, a great number of hairlike patterns are formed irrespective of the resin molded product. SOLUTION: A resin molded product is composed of a resin base material 3 wherein many long narrow one directionarily extending fine grooves 5... are formed on its surface, and a brilliant material containing film of a metallic film 4 or the like coated on that surface. Base material is injection molded by use of a molding die wherein many corresponding fine grooves are formed on a surface of the die. Then, by applying metallic coating or pearl mica coating or the like onto a surface of the molded resin base material, the resin molded product is manufactured.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To securely prevent the generation of blisters on the surface of a subsequent object to be transferred by adhesion of residue of a hardening resin layer which is not transferred to the surface of the object to be transferred in a hydraulic transfer vessel in using a film for hydraulic transfer having the hardening resin layer to be a surface-protecting coal which is cured through activation-energy beam irradiation or heating between a water-soluble film and a printing layer of patterns. SOLUTION: The hydraulic transfer apparatus is provided with a sludge discharging mechanism. This mechanism discharges outside the vessel the residue of the film F for hydraulic transfer not to be transferred to the object to be transferred in the hydraulic transfer vessel 4 together with surface layer water W in the vessel by supplying in a way to raise water level S of the hydraulic transfer vessel 4 from below an amount of water or hot water which causes the surface water W in the vessel to overflow the vessel at a time through rapid rise of water level in the hydraulic transfer vessel 4 every time the object to be transferred is put in or taken out of the hydraulic transfer vessel 4. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an article having excellent durability and beauty and subjected to hydraulic transfer printing. SOLUTION: The water-based coating composition for protecting a printed face formed on the surface by hydraulic transfer printing or providing beauty comprises (a) an aqueous solution or an aqueous dispersion of a resin containing an active hydrogen group, (b) a compound containing an isocyanate group and (c) a catalyst for urethanization reaction obtained by subjecting at least one kind of a radical-polymerizable compound to emulsion polymerization in water in the presence of at least one kind of an organometallic compound having catalytic activity to urethanization reaction. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To compound required amounts of many kinds of powder coatings according to required coatings or the quality of films as necessary. SOLUTION: This method for compounding powder coatings comprises preparing for three kinds of coating pellets (PA, PB and PC) in which a reactional accelerator, a viscosity modifier and a surface modifier to be coating components corresponding to performances of coatings or films are respectively selected in a higher content than the preset standard content, increasing the ratio of the coating pellets (PA) with a high content of the reactional accelerator when the curing rate is more increased, increasing the ratio of the coating pellets (PB) with a high content of a thickener to be the viscosity modifier when the film is finished in a thicker film and increasing the ratio of the coating pellets (PC) with a high content of the surface modifier in order to finish the film surface smoother and pulverizing the coating pellets (PA, PB and PC) so as to compound the powder coatings having desired performances.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To give a new and unexpected design performance which satisfies the tendency of personalization or the sense of pleasure of users or a beautiful and elegant design performance for female users to jacket parts for a wheel such as a wheel cap or a wheel cover. SOLUTION: Light emitting clear paint obtained by mixing with luminous pigment which removes the color of a body and generates transparency when it is mixed with the paint of a vehicle is partly applied to the surface of a parts main body 2. Thus, a pattern X which is not seen in the daytime is formed with paint applied parts 5 and a non-applied part 6. At night, the paint applied parts 5 emit phosphorescence and is conspicuous in the darkness so that a beautiful and new light decoration effect due to the pattern X and its visionary brightness is achieved.

PURPOSE: To provide a water pressure transferring method which has an improved adhesion property and can form a clear printing pattern even for polyolefin resin molding which cannot be decorated by a conventional water pressure transferring method CONSTITUTION: A printing pattern layer 2 is formed on a base 1 consisting of a water-soluble or water-swelling film as a transfer sheet 3. A primer 4 containing graft copolymer consisting of alkoxy (poly) alkyleneglycol mono(meta) acrylate (5-50wt.%), chlorinated polypropyrene resin (5-50wt.%), and vinyl compound containing polymerization non-saturation group (0-90wt.%) as a binder resin is applied to the printing pattern layer 2. The transfer sheet 3 is floated on the water surface so that the printing pattern layer 2 becomes an upper surface and an object 5 to be transferred is pressed from the upper portion. After the printing pattern layer 2 is adhered on the surface of the object 5 to be transferred due to water pressure, the base 1 is eliminated.

PURPOSE:To immediately produce transfer-printed products having various patterns by providing a recording device which puts an ink jet record on a transfer film by means of a printing head based on a tone signal from a computer control device and a coating device which applies an adhesive to the surface of the transfer film on which the ink jet record has been put. CONSTITUTION:An ink jet recording device 7 puts an ink jet record on a feed transfer film 1 by means of a printing head 9 based on a tone signal from a computer control device 6. A coating device 8 applies adhesives in a tank 20 to the surface of the film 1. And a hydraulic transfer printing device continuously delivers the film 1 into a transfer tank 2 to feed the film 1 onto a water surface (a) and fixes a transfer body 30 to a holder 27 by means of a transfer conveyor 3 at a point where the holder 27 is lowered to transfer the body 30, while a surface, onto which patterns are transferred, is pushed into the water from above the film 1 by the device, whereby printed patterns on the film 1 are transferred to the surface of the body 30 and then the body 30 is separated from the holder 27 at a point where the holder 27 is elevated.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the productivity of hydraulic transferring by automatizing a series of actions for cutting to size and then supplying a hydraulic transferring film to the surface of the water of a hydraulic transferring tank and, at the same time, to prevent quality defects such as poor transferring due to air bubbles formed between the hydraulic transferring film and the hydraulic transferring tank from developing. SOLUTION: This supplying device of the hydraulic transferring film is equipped with a mechanism for alighting on the water, in which, before the hydraulic transferring film 3 unrolled so as to face the surface W of the water in the hydraulic transferring tank is cut, the fore part 3a of the film 3 is rolled up from its corner C1 side and simultaneously put close to a rear part 3c so as to produce a sag being out of a horizon in an intermediate part 3b in order to alight the inclined lower end part of the sag on the surface W of the water and then roll back the rolled up fore part 3a, resulting in alighting the film 3 on the surface W of the water. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the spring out of bubbles in a protective film from the periphery of a decorating adhesive seal even when a surface protective clear coating material is applied on the surface of a molding on which the decorating adhesive seal is pasted and baked and dried. SOLUTION: In the method of decorating the surface (1a) of the molding (1) by pasting the decorating adhesive seal (2) on the surface (1a) of the molding (1) and applying the surface protective clear coating material thereon, air existing between the surface (1a) of the molding (1) and the decorating adhesive seal (2) pasted on the surface (1a) is evacuated to be removed and after a sealing clear coating material for enclosing the remaining air is applied on the periphery of the decorating adhesive seal (2), the surface protective clear coating material is applied.
