Abstract:
Processing, in which a first shape-dependent filter in accordance with a shape of a microcalcification pattern is utilized, is performed on an object image, and a fine structure image, which illustrates a fine structure area embedded in the object image, is formed. Thereafter, enhancement processing, in which a second shape-dependent filter in accordance with the shape of a microcalcification pattern is utilized, is performed on the fine structure image, and an enhancement-processed image, in which the microcalcification pattern has been enhanced, is formed. A microcalcification pattern candidate is then detected by use of the enhancement-processed image.
Abstract:
In a film unit, a charge operation member is held on a fron side of a guide member to be slidable between an ON position to turn on a flash charge switch of a built-in flash device and an OFF position to turn off the flash charge switch. The guide member is mounted stationarily to a front side of a flash circuit board of the flash device. Joints between front and rear cover of the film unit are set away from those circuit portions of the flash device where high voltage current flows. The flash charge switch is constituted of a metal contact blade and contact chips provided on the flash circuit board. The metal contact blade is bent roundly at a base portion of a pair of resilient arms. The charge operation member keeps on pressing the arms onto the contact chips in the ON position. The flash device charges a main capacitor while the flash charge switch is on, and automatically stops charging when the charge voltage goes above a predetermined voltage. A light emitting diode indicates the completion of charging.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a detergent composition which comprises (A) an amidoether derivative mixture (A) comprising an amidoether carboxylic acid or a salt thereof, an amidoether, and a glycerin derivative; and (B) a conditioning component, wherein the total amount of the amidoether carboxylic acid or a salt thereof and the amidoether is 50 wt % or more; the weight ratio of the amidoether carboxylic acid or a salt thereof to the amidoether is from 99:1 to 10:90; and the amount of the glycerin derivative is 5 wt % or less.
Abstract:
A detergent composition comprising (a) 0.1 to 95% by weight of a saccharide nonionic surfactant and (b) 0.01 to 5% by weight of an antibacterial agent. The detergent compositions are outstandingly mild to the skin, exhibiting a high antibacterial effect, without influencing or weakening the cutaneous metabolic and barrier functions of the skin. The detergent compositions can effectively restrain the early occurrence of dandruff after shampooing when used as detergents for the scalp and the hair. They also exhibit high antibacterial effect when used as body detergents.

A colloidal solution comprises a fluoride(s) being difficultly soluble in water comprises colloidal particles of the fluoride having a particle size of 0.005 to 1 micron, said fluoride having a fluoride ion concentration of 1 to 10,000 ppm in the state of saturation.
Abstract:
An image frame selecting apparatus for a photographic printer which is adapted to designate an image frame to be printed among image frames of a short photographic film. The apparatus includes operating devices the number of which is identical with that of the image frames of the short photographic film photographed and which are arranged in correspondence with the image frames of the short photographic film, the operating devices being adapted to select an image frame to be printed; an image frame designating device for designating the image frame corresponding to an operating portion of an associated one of the operating devices; a conveying device for conveying the short photographic film; and a controlling device for controlling the conveying device in such a manner that the image frame designated by the image frame designating device is positioned to a printing position. This arrangement allows the operator to select an image frame to be printed while collating the position of the selected image frame by means of the operating portion, thereby improving the operating efficiency in selection.
Abstract:
A cyclic olefin addition copolymer includes a structural unit (1) derived from a cyclic olefin compound with a C4 alkyl substituent group and a structural unit (2) derived from a cyclic olefin compound with a C5-12 alkyl substituent group, and optionally includes a structural unit (3) derived from another cyclic olefin compound. The novel cyclic olefin addition copolymers according to the present invention are excellent in melt-formability, transparency and heat resistance, have low water absorption properties, low dielectric constant and low metal content, and are suitably used in optical parts such as optical films. Processes according to the present invention produce the cyclic olefin addition copolymers at high yield with small amounts of catalysts.
