L'invention concerne un dispositif de reproduction (21), un dispositif (20) agissant comme une source de services numériques. Elle concerne également une méthode de synchronisation de deux parties d'un service numérique dans un système comprenant un dispositif source selon l'invention et au moins un dispositif de reproduction selon l'invention. Selon l'invention, le dispositif de reproduction (21) comprend des moyens pour recevoir des données constituant au moins une partie d'un service numérique provenant d'un dispositif source de services numériques (20), des moyens pour traiter (210) au moins une partie des données reçues, des moyens (211) pour reproduire une sortie d'au moins une partie du service numérique, le temps de traitement et de reproduction des données introduisant un retard dans la sortie des données reproduites. Ce dispositif comprend en outre des moyens de communication (213) pour informer le dispositif source du retard introduit.

Preferably, seven classes of observers are defined, according to different sets of Colour Matching Functions. By displaying specific colour patches of a classification chart using image display devices (CRT,LCD) having different sets of primaries, and by asking an actual observer to compare his perception of the same colour as displayed on each image display devices, the method according to the invention allows assigning said observer his specific class.

The present invention relates to a method and a device for displaying a sequence of images that makes it possible to prevent any unauthorized copying of the latter. It applies to any type of digital display device comprising a matrix of light cells comprising a number of rows and/or columns of cells greater than the number of rows and/or of columns of pixels of the images to be displayed. According to the invention, to disrupt the illegal copying of sequences of images in cinema auditoria, it is proposed to modify the frame frequency of the displayed images by varying the number of rows and/or columns of cells addressed with a black level for at least two images of the sequence.
